Q: I was wondering if you have an opinion on the risk coming from possible political stability/volatility in the US. While I would guess your answer is status quo, it is hard to think of a more alarming political situation, and right now, increased susceptibility to a subsequent event, such as an outside threat.
Also, somewhat related: with the stimulus package now priced in, do you still think that there is a catalyst ahead for another leg up in the market? Is it any different from our current theses (environment, pot, tech, industrial, gaming etc)?

I have a question about TRP.
If TRP were to walk away from the XL project what material impact will it have on the company? Is it significant and do you think it is a short term blip or will it hurt them long term?

Q: Late 2020, Quebec based Electric bus manufacturer Lion Electric went public through merging with US based SPAC Northern Genesis Acquisition Corp https://pages.thelionelectric.com/lev/

On Jan 12, 2021 NGA announced a large IPO. NGA has stated that it intends to focus on opportunities whose business model demonstrates clear commitments to sustainability and strong alignment with environmental, social, and governance principles.

It would seem that a blank check company formed for the purposes of M&A's, might view NFI as an attractive target, as it appears to be undervalued with a strong tailwinds & attractive governance coming from planned infrastructure spending across it's markets. There would also appear to be strong synergies between Lion and NFI's businesses.

While the above is highly speculative, does 5i view acquisition of NFI by NGA as making sense. Why or why not?

Q: I am interested in investing in Health Care Robotics. I am looking at Stryker and Medtronic. I am leaning toward MDT due to lower entry point and higher dividend. Based on history and statistics which one would you favour? Could you suggest similar companies for consideration?

Q: I am considering selling my PBH position and using the proceeds to add to ATD. I'm not concerned about the sector differences, particularly, and it looks like this could be a good time to add ATD, notwithstanding the uncertainties around the Carrefour offer. Is ATD in some ways like BAM, rather unique Canadian companies that can play skillfully on the biggest stages? What are your thoughts on such a switch, from one good company to another? Q: KXS has been struggling since mid Nov since articles of it being sued,which now appears regularly on its site.It closed at $167.07 on Jan 15.What is an attractive price to buy? Thanks for u usual great views & services.
