Q: Greetings,
I have some cash sitting in USD. Do you think it's worth converting to CAD or Euros' on the basis of the idea that the "mighty" US dollar is in decline.
Thanks!

Q: I don't think I've ever started a question with an apology, but sorry I'm bringing up these companies again.
I've read your Q & A's BUT I feel with the constant and dramatic fall of all 3 of these companies during a tech boom for tech stocks something else is amiss.
CSY -21% YTD (back to 2023 levels)
LMN -18% YTD (back to 2023 levels)
TOI -17% YTD (back to 2024 levels)
I could go on with
DSG-10% YTD
KXS-16% YTD
What is this telling you?
Should we not be buying CDN tech stocks. When looking for tech and healthcare just buy US?
If we hold these and are still positive should we just sell to prevent a loss?
Not sure what to do here. Waiting is soooo painful.
Thanks
Sheldon

Q: Please comment on why you think IFC has been weak lately. The sector overall has been poor with FFH & BRK'B falling as well. Are folks concerned that insurance premiums are at risk?
Q: From it's high of $140 ATZ is down almost 39% in the past few months.
What would the reason be for this?

Q: Cdn Banks and Lifecos are going gangbusters, with rising shares and increasing dividends. What would possess the admins of CEW.TO to cut the monthly distribution by 3%? See https://dividendhistory.org/payout/tsx/CEW/ Is this a bad sign that the ETF provider is not delivering value to holders?
Q: Wondering if this stock is worth long term investment
Q: This news could be causing the slide in Axon today as well..

Q: Hello Peter,
Your opinion and suggestions please.
There seems to be a consensus emerging that China and the emerging markets in particular will outperform the US markets. Do you think the same? I understand that 5i does not research international markets. Nonetheless I would appreciate it if you could suggest sectors and stocks from China and elsewhere; within your knowledge sphere.
I heard the German Chancellor in Davos mentioning deregulatory reforms as well as refrain from looking at outside capital markets(US) as a source of capital. And I believe that Trump threatened Europe with retaliation if they sold off US assets. The dollar has ben weak and probably goes even lower. That should bode well for international markets.
It would be great for us subscribers if 5i expanded its research even if limited, to international markets, particularly China. Any chance of that happening in the near future?
Regards
Rajiv

Q: Opinion on this stock
Q: Got this email from Seeking Alpha this morning . First question is how do you tell if something is being influenced by meme trading ? And assuming you can answer the first question, is this guy right ? ..... Thanks for your terrific service .....
Silver (XAGUSD:CUR) should be trading at half its current price later in 2026, said Marko Kolanovic, former chief strategist and co-head of Global Research at J. P. Morgan. The precious metal reached a top of $113.25 per ounce on Monday before shooting back to around $104-$110. But, according to Kolanovic, this is the result of “meme traders attempting to take over the market.”

Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Can you please tell me what the status of DND is and what we should be doing as shareholders
Q: What, in your opinion, would happen to the share price and business outlook of DSV if the permit for Cordero were never granted? In the current political environment and outlook for the price of silver, how likely do you think it is that the permit will be held up forever?
Q: Hi Peter and Team,
Can you please provide thoughts on investing in CES Energy Solutions CEU as a long term play on growth in volume in the energy sector rather than counting on just the commodity price like producers do?
They appear to be doing well, getting added to Dividend Aristocrat index in February but I see a bit of mixed signals in the comparison of cashflow and net income this year vs. last even though revenues are growing.
Thanks!

Q: I have a LIRA account and don’t plan to make any withdrawals for the next 15 years. I’m looking for “buy-and-hold” stock and/or ETF investment ideas that would suit this long-term timeframe.
I’m open to a mix of individual stocks and ETFs, across both Canadian and U.S. markets. Given the long horizon, I’m comfortable with experiencing periods of market volatility.
Any additional suggestions on how you would approach this situation if it were your own account would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Q: Further to the question asked by Clarence last January 20th on Constellation Software (CSU) & cos. (Lumine Group and Topicus), I’ve been doing research on Adobe (ADBE) to determine if it might be a worthwhile investment at this point in time.
Like CSU & cos, ADBE shares have declined significantly since generative AI became a “thing”. However, unlike CSU & cos, ADBE has been quick to integrate AI into its product portfolio, namely with its Firefly applications and its partnerships with leading AI ecosystems including Open AI and Google Gemini. Yet, despite these aggressive moves and a fair number of positive analyst reviews, ADBE’s share price continues to slide into deeply undervalued territory. Morningstar gives it a 5-star rating.
My question is this: if, despite Adobe’s considerable efforts to provide its customers with solid AI-related solutions, its share price continues to fall, how confident are you in the future direction of CSU & cos’ share prices? I understand that they are not deeply into public relations but even if by miracle they were to reveal how much effort they are putting into incorporating AI into their services, in what way would the outcome be any different from what is happening to Adobe’s share price?
