The quantum sector has been hit fairly hard this year, following last year's big party in the sector. All of these are down YTD. QBTS has cash but very low sales ($25M last year). Market cap of $6.4B is extreme based even on strong sales growth expectations. IONQ has $2.3B cash and a much larger sales base and remains our sector favourite. QUBT is quite small but has lots of cash. Sales base is minimal. RGTI is $5.4B market cap with only $22M in sales expected this year. None of these are profitable and losses are expected to continue. This is still an entirely sector call. They are all overvalued we think on fundamentals. There is potential, sure, but the sector has to maintain investor interest. In an uncertain market, this may be more difficult. We would be OK owning IONQ if an investor had to have exposure, but we do not think any of these are 'must own' and all should be considered very high risk.
