I have the following partial positions (less than 2%) and am looking for guidance on which ones look like good adds. Please rank in order and also provide a target price.

DSX just spun off a new company called OceanPal symbol OP. So can you see when these new shares will be given to share holders and when they will start trading on the Nasdaq ? Thanks!

Q: I see a notation on the Globe Investor website that Matterport was “formerly known as Gores Holdings VI”. I see “The Gores Group” still exists, and references a 2021 “transaction” with respect to Matterport. I assume that they were somehow involved with private financing and helping take Matterport public? Can you provide any colour commentary on Matterport’s history before their shares started trading earlier this year? I assume financial history is difficult to come by if they weren’t publicly traded?

Q: Since mid October, Sea Limited has declined 22% from $367 to $285. Why was there such a rapid decline?

Q: Is the flooding in British Columbia going to have a negative affect on Trisura's earnings and profit. Any comments you have on this company would be appreciated.

Q: With year-end tax harvesting, I have sold off some of my holdings in the 6 stocks listed above. Can you please tell me which (if any) are worth buying again after 30 days; please rate from best to worst. If possible, can you recommend a few other over sold good long-term Canadian stocks that may be a buy now with year-end selling. Thanks!!!

Q: I just sold some stocks at a loss and the transaction will be officially completed on November 24. What is the first day I can re-buy some of the shares and avoid a superficial loss? What is the last day a stock can be sold this December and still be transacted in 2021? In future, I think I should complete tax-loss harvesting by Nov 1st - would you agree? Q: Hi Peter.

Many of my and other high growth stocks have taken a beating. Many of them down more than 50-60% plus off their highs. However, the DOW and the NASDAQ don’t seem to have taken a tumble of that proportion.
My concern is that if this is truly a “bust “ as some pundits are calling it out to be and the indices like the S& P etc are due for further drawdowns, that could result in these hard hit high growth stocks going even down further.
In simple terms, how does 5 I see this playing out.? By stopping to taper, is the Fed creating another bust as they shore up liquidity?

We want to give each of our children $50,000 each as a Christmas gift, as we believe that we would rather see them enjoy it as we are still alive..

The plan is to take it out of our TFSA and not our cash accounts as we would have to pay capital gains.

We should be able to reinvest the amount taken out of our TFSA in the next year,.

Does this make sense?

Q: I have been holding ATVI for over a decade, I enjoyed the ride up and I'm painfully watching it's decline because of the the leadership controversy. I believe the stock is worth holding if the current CEO is ousted to help with the culture change.

Do you agree? If not, any suggestions where to move my money in the same space for long term growth.

Q: On Nov 17/21 I asked a question on VGR regarding them dividing their real estate douglas Ellimann from VGR. Do you have any updates for me.

Q: Rare Earth Elements traded for over $4 this year, and was hovering between $1-2 in the last few weeks. Last week, they announced that each shareholder is being given one right for every share we own, that allows us to purchase another share for $0.24. My question is why would they do this so far below current and recent prices? Is this another way of giving shareholders a pseudo-dividend or sweet deal? I assume this is why the share price has been falling in the last few days (a possible doubling in the number of shares). Can you comment? Here is a snippet from their announcement. I assume it would be silly NOT to take them up on their offer.

"One (1) subscription right will be required to subscribe for one (1) common share of Rare Element Resources Limited at the subscription price of $0.24 USD per share. ... Additional Shares: If you exercise your basic subscription privilege in full, you may also exercise an oversubscription privilege to purchase additional common shares that remain unsubscribed for at the expiration of the rights offering, subject to availability and pro rata allocation of shares among persons exercising the oversubscription privilege."

Q: Hi folks..thoughts on Enthusiastic Game eglx/t, acquisition of U.GG...I guess to gain entry to "League of Legends" game space....looks like $45M+ acquisition...for company that will generate 2022 Rev of $8M & N.I. of $3M...seems pretty rich...think it was good/bad/normal acquisition...and thought s on Eglx going forward....have possession...thanks as always, jb Piedmont QC
