Q: Can I please get your outlook on the energy sector, and the holdings above- how would you rank them for a 1 year hold, would the ranking change for a 5 year hold?
There is the view that energy will come back to represent a larger % of the index again.

Q: Hi , Peter & Team:

I'm in the process of selling some of the losers to offset the capital gain. Which of the above Co. may not rebound as well, that is the most likely to sell now, to the ones least likely to sell ( worth holding).

Q: 2 weeks ago Jamie Dimon, chairman of JP Morgan commented that he was expecting a challenging environment ahead. Then last week he revised his outlook to Hurricane conditions which JP Morgan is preparing for, partly to do with current conditions and the commencement of deleveraging. Pretty strong words from such a prominent figure. Any thoughts/comments/advise from you guys?

Q: I'm down >50% on LMND in my TFSA account, and while the loss itself doesn't alarm me, I'm doubting the future potential of their business model - especially with rising rates. I'm considering selling this position and re-investing into another company that I'm also down significantly on (RDFN) but that I have higher conviction in. Would love to hear your thoughts? Thank you.

Looking to trim / take losses and reinvest for growth in a personal account. Both WELL and TDOC (my only Healthcare holdings) are significantly down. I don't need to take losses but would you suggest holding on or selling and moving to another name ?

Q: Peter; Maybe I’m overthinking this but if we have a major geopolitical event( war ends,) and oil drops substantially, how will large oil stocks funds all exit? I know you don’t like stop losses but how else could a retail investor protect gains? Should we be selling off bits on the rallies? Thanks. Rod

Q: I just received a few hundred shares of an ADR, Australia-based Woodside Energy Group WDS-N from a spin-off of my BHP-N holdings. I must admit it caught me off guard as to the event. There is not a lot of data available on this Perth-based energy firm. It appears to of had a decent run lately. What I am interested in is the fact that its geography in South Asia, an area I have not really had much exposure to. Is it a valid company (in your view to hold for the near term?) The purpose would be purely for speculation. I feel oil and gas firms are near the peak in pricing so do you think selling is a better option. Thanks JIM

Q: Federal Liberals are reviewing tax treatment of residential REITS claiming "(REITs) are increasingly trying to amass large portfolios of Canadian rental housing, putting upward pressure on rents,” the announcement states, “We will put in place policies to curb excessive profits in this area"

Clearly such a restriction would not be good for REITs but as TCN is the only name I own in this space could I expect it to not be impacted?
