Hamilton Enhanced Canadian Covered Call ETF (HDIV $21.53)
-
Hamilton Enhanced U.S. Covered Call ETF (HYLD.U $15.36)
Q: These ETFs advertise on their website annualized yields of between 10.5% and 11.7% which seems very attractive using covered calls and leverage at a management fee of .65%. Do the covered calls generate that much income to increase the yield as well as the leverage? Also does the yield include a significant return of capital?
Thanks for your great service!!

Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets All Cap Index ETF (VEE $47.56)
-
iShares International Select Dividend ETF (IDV $43.72)
Q: Hi,
I have all of my international equity in XEF with a small amount of VEE. I noticed that IDV has performed extremely well this past year and better than XEF. Can you please explain why?
And are the two different enough that it would make sense to own both or is this too much diversification with both being broad market ETFs?
thanks

iShares S&P/TSX 60 Index ETF (XIU $48.46)
Q: Have an RRSP currently holding 2 bank positions (BMO and NA) that represent 11% of the portfolio Also hold XIU and XIC that total 15 percent of the portfolio and CDZ that is roughly 10 % of the portfolio.
Thinking of adding BNS or selling the two banks and buying ZEB. Which is better option given the other ETF’s ?What percentage holding in the banks would be appropriate?
Also should portfolio hold both XIU and XIC or should they be combined into one of the two. And if so how does this affect the direct holding in the banks? Perhaps not needed at all? Would appreciate your comments.Thanks.

Q: Good morning,
SHOP down ~ 12% on what I thought was a decent quarter. Guessing the earnings call may not have gone so well?

Q: Hi;
Please let me know what your view of Crox is currently. Seems solid, but maybe limited upside with the current tariffs. Seems to be a pretty loyal customer base though. Thank you.

Q: This stock just keeps on running up, nice 1 yr return, not that expensive when you look at other companies in the same business. Why would not buy it now?
Thanks Again

Q: Unity has me cooked. Any thoughts?
Q: Thoughts on recent earnings?
Q: Why is MSCI dropping so much? Do you still expect good earnings for 2026?
Q: I know that you (I assume Peter) aren't a fan of averaging down, but would GOOG be an exception? I feel that the stock has been unfairly punished, especially when considering its latest (excellent?) results.
As always, your comments are valued.

Q: I have watched many Youtube examples where jobs can be replaced with AI, whether it's call centers or financial analysts where Claude filled in forecasts exactly as an analyst would have. What stocks would you identify as leveraging the AI technology the most in the future? I would buy Anthropic if they were public (may occur this year yet). I'm assuming Google, Nvidia, but am I missing any? For example, Propel Holdings Inc uses AI... I would think that this would make Propel ahead of the game and be a very smart investment today.
Thank you,
Kevin

Q: Recognizing that it is higher risk than many companies, you seem to have a generally positive view of ZOMD. That said, unlike many other small caps that have followed market sentiment in these volatile markets, ZOMD has pretty much been in a steady state of decline since they released their earnings in late November. I note that the trading volume (in relative terms) has also significantly fallen off since then which might be a contributing factor.
As always, would appreciate your views for ZOMD going forward.

General Mills Inc. (GIS $48.59)
Q: Pre-market, KHC has really dropped on the earnings report, and they plan to pause the company split.
Do you see the dividend as being relatively secure going forward?
Comparatively, the stock price of other similar companies such as GIS and MDLZ are starting to gain momentum. Is most of the bad news now priced into KHC in your opinion?
