Q: Hi guys,

I have large positions in Boardwalk REIT and InterRent REIT. I believe they provide good growth going forward and offer some geographic diversity by owning both of them. I am contemplating adding a third REIT (Killam) to the mix to further diversify into Atlantic Canada. I did some research and noticed that they develop a lot of their units and their portfolio is much newer then most multi family REIT. Is it too much to own 3 REITs. I want to focus on multi family since it is the most resistant to a recession. They are held in my RRSP. I know Killam is focusing 75% of its development and acquisitions outside of Atlantic Canada hoping to diversify its holdings. What are your thoughts?

Thank you,
Jason

Q: I have tracked my portfolio for years on Globe Fund for free , now they are holding people hostage to pay up or lose the data you have entered over the years. They are acting like a cable company paying for services that you don't use. Far as I know there is no way of transferring that data elsewhere.

Q: Hi,
Thanks always for your advice, it's been very helpful.
Part of my investing strategy is to hold company shares (where possible) in AST or Computershare so I can use the dripping programs for the tax break. I am down drastically with CJR.B - should I sell and move on? Also, I hold ENB, NTR and PPL all of which have suspended their drip programs. Are they worth holding, so I can do something with the cash dividends or should I move on from them. All of my moving on would be to purchase other companies that drip.
thanks
michele

Q: Yesterday on Market Call Tonight Ross Healy basically panned McDonalds, as far too expensive, saying not only would he not recommend it as an investment, but he wouldn't even recommend it for gamblers, that it could damage your portfolio. I'm a little confused. McDonald's strikes me as a low beta stock which is reasonably conservative and doing well. It doesn't appear to me to be hugely overpriced or a risky investment. What is your take?

Q: I have a question about 1021

Would you kindly comment on the earnings for Toromont on Monday? Any reason Toromont is not in your portfolios? It seems that in this case and others like even Apple the markets are punishing stocks for missing on any front even though the earnings per share is a beat. Would you also comment on this in relation to current market sentiment? Thanks for your great service, Bryan
