Q: Hello Peter,

I think the market either goes down some or takes a breather for a couple of weeks as it digests the probability of a higher peak interest rate. I would like your opinion please.
In that context I am thinking of taking some profit on some of my long term positions that have rebounded with the intention of raising cash and legging in again as the rebound happens. At the same time I like them a lot and do not want to keep chasing after I sell. Just want to manage my risk without options.
In the semiconductor space I have a full position in NVDA and QCOM and half positions in ON and AMD. How would you suggest I trim, or should I go along for a bumpy ride?
As regards CRWD, I am in a conundrum. I like the space and it is my only holding there. It is also expensive. How would you suggest I manage the risk from here- I do not trade options.
Looking forward to your suggestions.
Regards
Rajiv

Q: Hello 5i team.
As a retired income investor and I have been using ETFs pairings as for example ZDV / ZWC and SCHD/ ZWH.U for core equity exposure. I feel comfortable with a 50/50 ratio in order to maximize the yield. What are your thoughts on using covered call ETFs in a set and forget mode and the ratio that you would consider reasonable- why not 100% covered call. I hold some sector ETFs in a similar manner. Thanks Team.. gary

Q: What are some "swing for the fences", i.e. high risk but potentially high reward, ideas on your radar at the moment. Looking for U.S./Canada ideas regardless of sector. Thank you!

Q: Good morning, I am wondering if there is a way to track sector rotation. Do you do it? How do you do it. Typically I follow XLF to follow the financials.
Thank you.

Q: I have very little exposure to Consumer Cyclicals
in my portfolio. I am considering taking a small position (say 2-3%) in Cdn Tire - it has a 4% dividend and some analysts seem to like it. Question - is now a good time to being taking a position in consumer cyclicals and what are your thoughts on CTC. Are there better options?

Q: Risk Adjusted returns - Canadian Banks.
I am, respectfully, highly skeptical of your recent assessment.
Such a wide range seems unlikely, especially with NA at the top and BNS negative.
Not sure what you actually mean with 5yr CAGR value or whether it includes dividends.
5i has said on a number of occasions that Canadian banks tend to move in tandem over time.
I would appreciate some clarification and confirmation.
Thanks
