I am having some trouble finding the percentage of their respective business is in cybersecurity. Would you have this breakdown?

How would you rank the 5 for overall growth?

Q: Unless I misread your reply, in a recent response you suggested that you can claim both the interest charges as well as the principal amount of a loan as a deductible expense when its used to purchase an investment. To my knowledge, only the interest portion of the loan is a tax deduction.

Q: I like to look at total return including capital gains plus dividends over the previous 5 or 10 years when considering the purchase of a stock. This sometimes keeps me from purchasing a stock with a big dividend but little or no price appreciation. But I do not have a site that I am confident in to provide total return information for US or Canadian listed stocks. I use Globe watchlist which has a 5 year return but it does not agree with Canadian Stock Channel, for example.
Is there a site or simple method to get this statistic?

Q: I hold ERF, NVA, ARX, TVE, GXE, and VET in the "play money" part of my portfolio and I'm certainly benefiting from and enjoying the large increases but I know all good things must end and sometimes quite abruptly.

Are there a couple of key indicators I should be particularly watching for that it's time to get out of all of these quickly before I give up all my easy gains?

I hold SEMR and VEEV and both reported recently. I would appreciate your analysis of their earnings reports as well as what you see going forward for both.

I have a long-term outlook and a high tolerance for volatility, if the growth story is intact.

Q: Hello Peter,

I have 6% of my portfolio in Gold and Silver stocks with PAAS as the lone silver holding. The rest are in gold distributed between large (AEM,FNV) and small (MMX,KRR,WDO).
I am considering selling PAAS to harvest a tax loss. I could replace it with another Silver stock(MAG) or replace with increasing a Gold producer or let my portfolio weight drop.
Given the current geo political situation, what would be your suggestion?

Q: I am in a quandary, I have no idea what is going on with this split shares. I bought the capital shares at the low of oil stock companies, the shares were $.50. I know that it was highly leveraged and there was no value in the capital shares. I accepted the fact that they could be worthless by 2023, the time that they would be redeemed. I was hoping that the oil stock would recover and the net asset value would go back to $5 as it was in 2018. Well the underlining stocks have mostly hit 5 year highs, but yet the net value of the capital shares are about $ 2.00, so the way I read it the stocks would have to go up another 100 % to get to this value, if my calculations are correct. Rhis is not going to happen, I emailed the company but no response I just do not under stand why the value is so low. Do I have this right if so I blow these shares out. Sorry for the long winded question.
