Q: I am thinking of buying a small cap for growth and AII and VNP have both gone up already. Do you like either, both neither, or would you wait for a pullback.

Can I get your opinion on GRGD please. The SP is up quite a bit and took quite a drop today

Q: What are your thoughts on Char Technologies? Too early to invest? What other small caps would you invest in instead for a 5-year hold?

Q: Hi,

If I own CLS (1/2 position) and MU (1/2 position) already, would there be too much duplication to take out a 1/3 position in VNP as well?

Thanks very much, Michael

Q: One of the members mentioned feeling bad that he had missed the boat on the rising tide. I am also in that boat. I had planned to buy something but kept putting it off. That being said, are there still some bargains around? I am thinking of the usually favoured stocks such as Shop, Google, CSU etc.
Thanks for the greatest service

Q: I appreciate your guidance, and I don’t reach out often, so thank you in advance for your time. For a retired investor with a reasonably safe and conservative RRIF—who also does some consulting and has accumulated some extra cash—could you recommend two stocks with strong potential to double within the next year?

I understand that opportunities with this level of upside are inherently volatile and could decline 50–75%, but I’m comfortable with that risk for a small portion of my portfolio. It still feels like a better bet than buying hundreds of lottery tickets.

I’d appreciate a brief explanation of the rationale behind your two selections.

Q: Good morning 5i,

Enjoyed the BNN segment as always.

Which current US stocks are in the midst of hot momentum with room to carry. Such as NBIS. Ones preferable with reasonable balance sheets and worth holding on a fundamental basis. Add to my momentum portion of my portfolio.

Thank you.

Q: With the VIX above 30 and sure to continue to be volatile in the coming weeks, how would you advise investors to step into the current market? Can you provide a couple of examples of companies you would be buying into this volatility?

Thank you
Tim

Q: Had several stocks down roughly 5% March 30, these 5 were almost or over 8% down, overall portfolio was down 3.38% in a day. Seems unfair seeing what the indexes did :)

Q: I have these small/mid caps in my portfolio for future growth. Any concerns with any of these? Please rank these for growth potential. I do realize GRID ZDC and ELVA are much smaller. Thanks Stephen

Q: Hello Team, Can you please rank the above companies in order of what you think will give the best returns over the next couple of years. Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter and Team,

I am looking at turning over a portion of my portfolio and rotating into AI infrastructure. With the growth we're seeing increased power consumption, micro data centers, advanced cooling, specialized power distribution, and a supply shortfall are all going to be very relevant in the coming years with the AI capacity rising so fast.

My questions;
1. Has there been a market sector specifically dedicated to AI? Or is it just grouped into IT?
2. I know you mentioned TransAlta Corp in your recent "Best Stock Ideas. What other companies do you think we should be looking at moving forward?
3. Are you looking to have more focus on this sector for the Model Portfolios and if so, which companies are you looking at for growth and for income?

Appreciate all you do

gm

ps,... Thank you for 5N Plus, Kraken & Tantalus

Q: How would you rank the listed names today for new positions in the TFSA of a growth oriented investor?

Q: Greetings,

1) To me it seems counter intuitive to buy a stock like VNP which has experienced such a steep appreciation in a short space of time.

Whatever happened to “reversion to mean” ? Surely this phenomenal rise makes the stock more vulnerable to a sharper pull back?

Or are we looking at a company that has a phenomenal runway and this is just the beginning?

2) Are there dangers making purchases based mostly on momentum? I am worried about “jumping on the bandwagon”? and making a FOMO purchase.

3) At what approximate price do you think the risk reward ratio is more favourable?

4) Is there a way of seeing who is actually buying at the moment? i.e General Public or Institutional or Insiders. Can we draw any conclusions from WHO is mostly buying?

My screen is showing a 4.5% insider ownership but NO recent insider purchases

Many thanks in advance for your sharing your thoughts.
