Q: What is the payout ratio? The site I was using says cash flow has been negative for the past 3, 6, and 9 month periods. How safe would you expect the div to be? Thanks.

Q: Can you explain or provide some links on the rules of trading w/re buying & selling the same stock within a limited time period. I'm not a day trader but I thought there was some rule about not being able to buy back a stock you sold within a certain time period? Thanks. Graham
Q: A comment on your recent blog...You say the TSX is up 14% year to date and yes, we should be happy with that. But a little context here; for those of us who are in for the long term, that is following a dismal quarter. If we go back to the end of September, the 9 month return is an anemic 1.95%.
Q: Hi Everyone! What would be your thoughts of this stock as a long term investment and from a value perspective , would it be something you would invest in at this time? Cheers, Tamara

Q: I have been looking to add some funds to this ETF- I like the strategy, active management, sector/ smaller number of holdings. Would you still recommend it for a bit of global diversification?
I notice it is called a dividend fund however do not see a distribution from 2018 and the 12 month trailing yield of 0% with an annual payout listed- is this a concern? (the focus really doesn't seem dividend focused) Are there any other actively managed cad$ ETFs with a similar strategy you can recommend

What are the risks you foresee for this company?
I recently read form company website and that they are also exploring new sectors (non-oil) such as power, etc. Whats your view on that and how significant are they or how capital intensive are they. Will these new business lines change the revenue mix (away from oil) significantly ? If you can throw more light on these new initiatives it would be helpful. Thanks.

Q: I recently read your article "Cap-Weight vs Equal
Weighted Indices" in etf-mutual fund letter which generally concluded that equal weighted etf's out performed cap weighted etf's. However, I'm wondering if this is still true if higher MRE's and higher taxes (due to higher turnover) are taken into account. In other words what's the after tax comparison, say if you were in the 40-50% tax bracket? Do you have some idea or do you know some studies on this?
Thanks

Q: Good morning 5i. I've been waiting for a pullback on PAYS to purchase some shares. These would be for the aggressive side of my PF in my TFSA. What are your thoughts? Much thanks for keeping us on track.
Q: Hey 5i,
Could you comment on the upcoming ipo of green for life? Do you know a date? Projected share price? They’ve been growing very quickly through acquisition, and some lucrative public contracts. Looking at how other waste companies have done in the past (waste connection, waste management inc.) it has potential to be a great “ground floor” opportunity. Thanks for your insight.
