Q: I am way down with team and gh. Please advise your outlook for them over the next 12 months (acknowledging and notwithstanding your standard 5 year time horizon). Also, what is your feeling today regarding the recent shift from growth to value, will it continue or does it seem like it has run its course?

Q: Hello 5i team,
I'm looking for a one stop global balanced dividend etf at this time, for the next 4 year time frame.
Maybe VGRO, Vbal etc. but not prefered, I'd like about 3% Canadian content in it.
Too much in Canada already.
Any ideas other than balancing MAW120 or XAW with a GIC ladder ?

Q: If you purchase a stock on its ex-dividend date or after, you will not receive the next dividend payment. Instead, the seller gets the dividend. If you purchase before the ex-dividend date, you get the dividend. Am I correct here? In that case when is actual ownership transferred? Trade date or settlement date?

For example, if the ex-dividend date is 9/17, the trade date is 9/16 (so it's supposedly bought before the ex-dividend date) and settlement date is 9/18, will I get the dividend? Please clarify and thanks for your help.

Q: your article in the financial post was very insightful.
the only stock to make 2 different screens was enerflex and yet it is near its 52 week lows, its chart looks horrible. why is this, i think because it is related to the energy complex but not sure.can you help, i had this stock in my watchlist forever.
also nice to see goeasy on the harder to make last screen, nothing surprising here, its always undervalued.

My wife bought SQ and MU when they were high. Now she has about 14% of MU and 29% of SQ of unrealized loss, and they are in her RIF. Q: 1. The Globe just published a list of Canadian companies CEO salaries and bonuses. Sorry for the odd question but I am find it very hard to understand how the CEO of Barrick deserves a salary of $3.2M and a bonus of $12.6M. I am hoping that you could help me understand a bit.

Q: Wondering about where to contribute and add to next . I have a TFSA and RSP self directed ( no unreg'd trading accounts )

Started investing in the TFSA 1st so my RSP is far behind it in $ levels . Now that I have contribution room , plus more on Jan 1 should i go with ..

Topping up EMA in my RSP , would be heaviest weighting if so with TD on top right now .
Topping up RY , NFI , MFC or NPI ( all being medium weight with TD and AQN on top )
Or adding BEP or SRU as new holding to either TFSA or RSP , leaning towards BEP myself .
