Q: Morning 5iTeam,

Would you please recommend a couple of bitcoin ETFs in both Canadian and US markets.

Cheers,

Q: Beside exchange rates effects, is there any major difference in owning a CAD bitcoin etf like BTCC.B vs one of the newly minted US BTC etfs? I use GBTC as an example but if there's some you like better please mention.

Q: I've been looking for historical data on index-wide PE ratios for the Nasdaq to help put the current bull market in better historical perspective. I was able to find a report published this week on S&P 500 and Russell 2000 indicies going back many decades which 5i readers might find useful (here: https://www.yardeni.com/pub/stockmktperatio.pdf), but haven't been able to find similar data on the Nasdaq. Do you know where I might be able to find it?

I'm also interested in hearing your thoughts on how the current exuberance related to crypto might factor into an overall equities "bubble"? Feel free to deduct as many questions as required here.

Q: I recently yielded to Bitcoin craze and bought GBTC ETF as a hedge. However, I noticed that, on bad days, GBTC is dropping faster than bitcoin and, at the moment, it trades at significant discount to NAV. I can explain this by the lack of redemption program. However, my main concern here whether the amount of BTC per share is fixed (according to Greyscale website it is 0.00094690) or can be freely manipulated by the fund? What concerns me is the footnote that this is the rate as of March 3. I checked the prospectus and don't see anything there about BTC/share ratio. Basically, if the fund can reduce BTC/share at will, the investment value here is quite questionable. Do you have any information/thoughts on this?

Q: Hi, other than GBTC and QBTC, if one wanted to take a flyer in some bitcoin stocks, what would be 2-3 "high quality" Cdn or US names and how would they rank? And any other ETF's other than the two mentioned that could benefit? Thanks!

Q: Your thoughts on the IPO for Ninepoint Partners LP Bitcoin Trust - Class A, and how does this compare to other listed companies (GBTC, QBTC, BTCG, GLXY)? I am not interested in participating in the current FOMO, so willing to wait for the next pullback. In the meantime I'd like to assess how these current offerings compare to Ninepoint. Does Ninepoint trade like an ETF? Much thx.

Q: Dear 5i,

If one wanted to invest in bitcoin would you wait for a US listed ETF or would
you invest in an existing blockchain ETF like BLOK?
(Van Eck filed just recently for a bitcoin ETF)

On the same risk/return spectrum do you think there are better themes to invest in with my money? Please suggest alternatives and perhaps some ETF's to research.

happy new year
