The quote about Latin America below is from today's Washington Post. Given that dire analysis, can you advise how you think the situation in Latin America will affect BNS's overall business, its share price and ability to cover its dividend for the foreseeable future.
"In Latin America, the economic disaster may be just as acute, if not more so [than in other hard hit places such as India]. Leading U.N. officials warn of a “lost decade” in the region, with spiking poverty and entrenched recessions. The ILO [International Labor Organization] pointed to a “stimulus gap” between rich and poorer countries. “Just as we need to redouble our efforts to beat the virus, so we need to act urgently and at scale to overcome its economic, social and employment impacts,” Guy Ryder, the ILO secretary general, said in a statement. “That includes sustaining support for jobs, businesses and incomes.”

Q: I have essentially equal holdings in these mega caps and other US and Canadian techs listed. For a new additional tech investment, any thoughts on the best addition? Would you recommend more to an index?
I'm trying not too add too many new names.

Q: The Brookfield suite over the years has been a comfortable place to grow but it has a way of taking over ( combined 4 holdings has grown to 17% ) .

BIP.UN is my 3rd biggest holding , BEP.UN is my 13th biggest holding .
BIPC is my 23rd and BEPC is my 30th weight position . I own 50 stocks .
My RIF begins next year so I will have to cull somewhere and draw income.

1. You seem to prefer BIP over BEP :
2: You prefer the “C” stocks in non-registered accounts (To benefit from CDN dividend )
3. You prefer “.UN” stocks in the registered accounts to avoid US withholding taxes.

To restructure things involves declaring substantial capital gains ... Does it make sense to switch things around ?

Q: Can you please tell me how BAM.A has “nearly doubled since the March low”? I’ve seen this comment from 5i a couple times already but don’t can’t see anything close to that in the charts or looking at the 52 week lows/highs. Are we talking about the same stock?

Q: What do you think about competition Roku will face from Amazon in particular given especially Amazon's new firestick reveal today? I've done well in Roku (thanks to 5i) and would like to hold it but am worried about the company getting it's lunch eaten by Amazon. I'm interested in hearing your views on this point - the competition from Amazon. Thank you,
