Q: Hi Team,
Thoughts on abnb quarterly results? Weak guidance killing stocks seems to be the theme again this quarter with earnings releases. Should I continue to hold this name? Thanks

Q: If I read the news correctly, BBLN crashed today on news they are planning to go private. What does this mean for me as a shareholder? Should I sell now and take my lumps, or is there as chance it will bounce back a bit?
Q: Could you please comment on their results and outlook?
Thanks,
Milan

Q: Why has NPI dropped so much today , should I hold or sell.
Q: I'd appreciate your comments on FSZ's results released today and outlook. I noticed that you lowered your position and implied it is on its way out of your income portfolio. Do you see it as a SELL. While I hold it for the income, I'm also hoping that another company will take it over. Thanks for your help.

Q: Did you happen to read the article in today's Globe & Mail "Don’t be seduced by the juicy yields of covered calls " by Dan Hallett?
I have recently invested in HDIV and HYLD just for those juicy yields produced by the covered call stratagey. Now I am second guessing this idea tempting as the yields are.
What are your thoughts?
Thank you as always for your input.
David

Q: Hi
I'm down 40% on the U.S. bank ETF, but with only a 1.5% weighting. I'm a true believer in that the most important metric in buying stocks is what you pay when you take a position. Being down 40% is presenting a huge opportunity if the Good out weighs the bad in these regional banks. Are there enough solid banks here to justify a 3% weighting in your opinion.
Thanks

Q: May I have your thoughts on Gileads Q 1 results and do you see the stock as a buy. Thanks.
Q: Results look good. In my opinion I see 4 important tailwinds. 1. Credit tightening- making it more difficult for home ownership. 2. Housing shortage. 3. Interest rate peaking- improve margins in time, and re accelerate growth 4. Pricing power- ability pass rent increases on. Does this cover them or did I miss any others. Where do you see this company 3-5 years from now. Full purchase make sense at this time?
Q: Your thoughts on the quater please.
Thanks

Q: Is inflation finally under control?
Will we have a recession? How deep could it be?
Are our banks safe?
Are we losing control of our country to others that seem to play by different rules? We just kicked a Chinese diplomat out of Canada for threatening the family of a member of the Canadian parliament. How will China retaliate?
Russia is still at war against Ukraine. How is that impacting the world economy?
Climate change is threatening economies in counless ways. Almost all negative.
So here's my question. In your opinion, what Canadian and global companies offer a service so necessary or a product that is in such high demand that they will persevere in these troubled times and make profits for their investors?

Q: Under todays conditions what company stocks should I be considering to buy in Consumer Staples?
Q: I currently hold TD, RY and BNS. I'm considering selling BNS given its higher risk in Latin America and risks in the financial sector now. Thinking of National Bank given its higher focus in Canada. Does this make sense? Thoughts? Or Hold?
