Q: I'm split at 20% ETF and 80% stock. Going into 2024 where do you see the canadian market vs the S&P or MSCI EAFE ? The US has outperformed the other 2 in 2023 as usual but do you believe that this continues into 2024? Could you comment on the 3 and what are the chances for the Canadian and International markets to perform better than they have in the coming years?

Q: After acquiring MMX last year what is the earnings growth outlook for TFPM? They seem to have a lot of non-producing streams/royalties, how many of these projects are expected to be producing assets in the next decade? Would 5i consider it a buy at current price levels or would you prefer a more senior royalty play like FNV?

Q: Just a comment on how 5i will answer a question to a client who will say they are down 40% on a stock that at one time was recommended by 5i , but 5i will say that the stock is up say 15% this year, it still does not make the stock a winner or make it a stock to hold. Nobody gets this market right all the time, and sometimes i feel that 5i should say get the heck out of this stock, Just like Cramer on CNBC.

Q: My daughter is invested in just these three ETFs. With a 40-40-20 percent weighting. The reasoning was diversification, growth and safety. YTD she is up 20% but the laggard seems to be the one based on the TSX. Can you make any suggestions concerning this strategy? Thank you!

Q: I have $40K US to redeploy I would open 3-4 positions in an unregistered account. My thoughts go to blue chip dividend payers and nothing commodity based that I can let grow for 3-5 years. I do hold the following in this account: GOOG,AMZN,AAPL,CELH,ISRG MSFT,SYK . Your input is much appreciated. David

In which order would you sell the above? and I assume you would not buy any of them back at this point in time?

Q: While I am primarily a growth investor and I currently hold BN, I am attracted by the higher USD dividend offered by BIPC and am considering a switch. Which company do you think will have the best overall return over the long run for an investment in an unregistered account?
