Q: Good morning,
Could you please comment on the most recent earnings- as a hold its steady, unheeded decline is concerning ( and becoming costly). What's your advice ?
Thank you.

Q: With interest rates stable or downward sloping why would a preferred share fund be decreasing in stock value? This should normally increase the value of the preferred shares in the fund, would it not?
Q: I enjoyed your report on lightspeed. I’m currently a square shareholder and was curious what advantages you feel lightspeed has that square doesn’t.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: Cervus has been hit with lower price lately. In May it seemed to have decent results.Do you have any information leading to downward price trend.
Q: Looking to add to the energy sector would like your opinion on vet and key and which would be looking to be the best in today's market other holding's include enb, ata,ad.fru I'm underweight energy.
Q: Sorry, but another follow up on Great Canadian. If the earnings outlook for the next 2 years is essentially flat, what's the incentive to continue holding the stock in the short-term (say 1-2 years)? Is it the hope that continued share buybacks from good cash flow generation will increase earnings per share beyond what's currently in the analyst estimates? Is it the hope that they can improve operations, expand or acquire new businesses and improve earnings per share beyond what is currently estimated? Are there other things that still have you excited about the stock? Is it worthy of a 5% position in a 20-stock portfolio?
Q: Hi 5iR, I have been out of investing in energy stocks for a while, however with oil back down in the low $50.00 range I'm reviewing a few names. TOG and SGY appear to be very attractively priced and pay an excellent dividend. I can't seem to find any negative analyst reporting on either one?? Maybe that's telling me something?? In addition, TD has just raised its' target price on both of them and TOG has increased it's dividend. TD's Target Price on TOG is $8.50, which would mean better than 100% upside at todays price of $4.00
The story with VET is a little cloudy......they do have a lot of debt, but the management team is excellent and the European exposure means more cash for their product.
My questions are: is the oil sector a place to start allocating some funds now and how do the above names stack up as investment choices?
Thanks Team. Cheers, Chris

Q: Good Morning,
Just wondering why 5i is so confident about AYX and would you suggest it's a reasonable time to buy?
I'm thinking abut adding more to my position, but all of the stock information I have access to through TD WebBroker suggests that it is highly over-valued with lots of insider selling. Thompson Reuters gives it an overall score of 2, but momentum is rated 10.
Thanks,
Brad

Q: Hello, are there any Canadian companies involved in plant based meat alternatives? I don't think any pure plays but perhaps Maple Leaf Foods? any comments woudl be appreciated, thanks, Ed
Q: I have a general question but I will use SIS to help me as an example. I am trying to learn how to find out what a company's Debt is. I want to be able to calculate the ratio of Debt to Cash Flow. I can find Cash Flow right from the TD Direct Investing website, but how can I find "Debt" to plug into the ratio? Many thanks. Marilyn
Q: In its Q1 report, BRE attributed its net loss to "the fair value of the exchangeable units issued by the Company, driven by a rise in the Company's share price." Other metrics were encouraging, but particularly considering the scope (~80% of revenue) of the exchangeable units penalty, should I be concerned about their impact going-forward? Their effect seems to be to punish the company when it shows good momentum.
Q: Good Morning,
Just wondering what you think of the Drone Delivery deal with Air Canada? I made a few dollars on this a year or so ago by selling when the price spiked, but this news seems especially promising for a sustainable upward trend. Of course, this is a highly speculative stock given they are pre-revenue, but it seems like drone transportation is something to seriously consider with AC getting involved. Thanks.

Q: HWO's Q1 results were hardly encouraging, but in view of its dividend, its lack of debt and its long operating history (inc. near-death in 2009), is there a price at which it becomes interesting - or is it just as likely to keep eroding to tax-loss season?
Q: bot this dog...down 30%...sector is out of favor...no one investing in Canada energy in fact most getting out....is there a short play coming ? any reason to hold ?
