Q: I hold CROX and 2024 has been a roller coaster ride. Still up a bit though.
I am looking for clarity on holding it, based on 2 recent responses.
Dec 13, Dick asked about top 3 growth stocks in USA, and CROX made that coveted list.
Jan 22, Dave asked to rank 6 specific stocks for growth, based on 2025 estimates. On that puny list, CROX ended up last, with 0% growth forecast.
I cannot rationalize those two responses. In one case, it is one of the top stocks in America; in the other, it is last amongst six. Looking for clarity on what to think of CROX for 2025. Many thanks.

Q: Looking to sell LYB and purchase one of these two preferred shares can you tell me which one you prefer and why ? Both these stocks have wild fire issues out west in the USA. Maybe I should just be more patient with LYB to grow thus getting a capital gain as the dividends are about the same.

Q: Other than the joint venture partners, what companies do think will benefit the most from the AI infrastructure plan introduced by Pres. Trump on Tuesday? I suspect VRT and CLS will benefit, but I am sure there are others in AI support businesses.

Q: Hi,

May I please have your take on the Gardasil vaccine lawsuit against Merck. Does this affect the fundamental investment thesis of Merck as a conservative, inexpensive stock with a decent dividend. I note the share price is down about 16% in the last year.

Would you be able to provide a couple of better options in the US healthcare space? I already own ISRG and LLY.

Thank you, Michael

Q: Hello Peter,
I tried to balance growth and income as well as dividends (no with holding tax in RRSP for US stocks but there is in TFSA), and hence, can you let me know if these make sense for a mid 20s person starting off to have a more growth in TFSA and more income in RRSP.
TFSA: veqt, vgg, and xfn and maybe xic ( veqt has cdn exposure so thought i would exclude xic )
RRSP: vbal, zuq, xic, and xuu all of these trade on tsx. Much appreciated.

Q: Hi, can I get your view on Intuit and how it might be affected by AI possibly in a bad way? I have a 35% gain in the stock with a 1% holding. Would you take that money off the table now and move it into something else or do you have a more positive outlook on it. I welcome your suggestions on stocks or sectors you might favour going forward from here. Thank you!

Q: I have been following KMI for some time. I did own it at one time but sold it on a pop and have been waiting for an opportunity to get back in. Since then, it has been having a good run while paying a substantial dividend. I am wondering if you think there is still opportunity in this name or if I have missed it and should look elsewhere.
Your thoughts will be appreciated along with any alternative suggestions.

Q: In doing some research I came across Zenatech (ZENA). It seems to have gone public very recently. I was wondering if you could give your thoughts on the potential of this company and exactly what they do. Is it a decent higher risk investment with some potential or would higher risk dollars be better deployed elsewhere?
Thank you as always for the great service you provide.

Q: Thanks for the great service over the years. I would like to know your opinion on these two companies and what each of their possible futures look like as the Ai craze and other chip needs keep them in the headlines. If you had to own 1 for the next 5-10years which would you pick and why? I have in the past owned NVDA bought & sold successfully. I currently hold GOOG and AMD with AMD being a bit of a let down so far. Side note if you are interested in a good read or audio book the coming wave by mustafa suleyman has been very eye opening and is a factor in me relooking at these two companies.
