Q: Please provide me with 3 each US Industrials and Materials.
Also would appreciated 3 more us stocks you would recommend that are not expensive. So many have gone up and are now near the top. Please provide me with best of breed US companies that still have room to run.
I have held ULTA and SMCI (full positions) for about a year and am reconsidering them due to changes in forecast etc.
Could you suggest 5 alternate names in the US that project growth in the next 2-3 years?
They do not need to be sector specific just strong growth and good fundamentals.
Q: Hello 5i:
I want to add to my AI exposure with a 3 – 5 year horizon.
I already have sufficient TSLA and AAPL, and moderate positions in NVDA and MSFT, and a starting position in PLTR.
What would be your choice(s) for adding to any of these, and/or starting new positions such as AVGO, DELL , TSM, or others? I have avoided GOOG due to possible breakup legislation.
Many thanks for your ongoing great service.

Q: LRCX and AMAT both fell hard after ASML reported. Is the drop overdone? Are LRCX or AMAT buyable? If yes, at or below what price on each? And between the LRCX and AMAT, do you have a preference?
Q: What do you make of the Financial Times report that Uber (UBER-N) explored a possible bid for Expedia? Would this be good for Uber stock price….even though it is down this morning?
Q: Hello,
Uber and CRWD have grown nicely to reach levels of 10%+ in my portfolio. I know that you cannot personalize but so my question is whether a prudent move with companies like these are to let them run completely or pare down to a comfortable number. If lightening is preferred, what would be optimal? If one or the other is safer to keep at a high % please feel free to answer separately for each.
Q: does ASPN have a patent on its thermal barrier technology? are there any competitors that provide the same equipment to EV manufacturers? what is the forecast EPS for 2024 and 2025 ? what 3 metrics do you use to value ASPN is ASPN reliant on any one company for revenues? is the balance sheet strong? thanks Richard
Q: In June this year you named this company as one of your favorite cyclicals. I didn't buy it but it has dropped significantly since then. I am considering buying it now as it looks like EPS has exceeded expectations for at least the last 4 Q's. Would you still consider it a buy or have fundamentals changed? Thank you. John
Q: Hi,
I'm wondering if you're able to ascertain why CVLT dropped so hard this morning? I haven't found anything - and am wondering if I should just cut my losses quickly on this one. Your thoughts are always appreciated!

Building a value stock portfolio for both long term and shorter term results (Santa Clause Rally) and looking for potential stocks that could be described as "under valued" and can be classified as recession defensive as well in both Canada and the US. Was wondering if you could list 5 picks from both Canada and the US?
