Q: Good day and thanks for the great service. My question is mfc4644 has outperformed vti since inception and i believe that is due to its higher tech weighting. Going forward do you believe it would be better to hold mfc4644 or vti - or - mfc4644 and usmv in equal weighting which i believe would outperform vti. Looking for your sage advise...Thank you..Gene

Vanguard FTSE Canadian High Dividend Yield Index ETF (VDY)
-
Vanguard U.S. Dividend Appreciation Index ETF (VGG)
-
Vanguard U.S. Dividend Appreciation Index ETF (CAD-hedged) (VGH)
-
Vanguard Dividend Appreciation FTF (VIG)
Q: Which Canadian dividend ETFs do you recommend? I am thinking in particular of dividend growth or high dividend.
Q: Thanks for your answer on the above but while it identifies the companies involved it does not address the reasons for the parabolic nature of this months rise, other than those companies prices also rose. But why?? It looks as though somebody/something goosed the sector as the gain is abnormal. A change in (US) policy? A virus issue impairing China's competitive ability? A technical development? Can you contribute to this analysis. Industry progress prior to February was consistent with prior periods; February was not. Thank you.
Q: I would appreciate your recommendations for appropriate ETFs for a TFSA. The funds will likely be withdrawn in a couple of years for a home purchase.

Q: Hi, I am 42 and just signed up for your portfolio analysis service. One of the key gaps noted was an over-sized focus on Canadian equities and etfs, and particularly a gap in sufficient international investments.
With a 20+ investment horizon for an existing rrsp portfolio, could you suggest some holdings to build a better international base? I already use Both general and thematic etfs but would be happy to add some more targeted stocks of ideas as well.
Thanks so much
Peter

Q: Hi guys,
What do you think of GH's quarter and the guidance provided? Prior to this weeks market decline the stock seemed to be slowly moving up. Once the COVID-19 issues are resolved and the market starts to recover, do you still see significant upside to this company and when do you think they may start showing a profit?
