Q: Hi, My respected 5i team
During the March 2020 market correction, your team provided a special report which was a big help for me to take advantage of the market correction. I bought some solid names at a discount as the report recommended. Are you guys still doing this kind of special report in the future?
Could you please recommend 5 solid names to buy in Canadian and US markets respectively if there is a market correction again? Do you think it is a good time to buy them now during the current market  drawdown?
Pls list the names in the order from your most favorite to the least. Thanks in advance!

Q: On June 16th you listed CPRT as one of five US compounders. Does this mean that this and the other companies listed are as close to 'buy and forget' companies as one can find? What are your thoughts about CPRT considering its strong gains of late? Is it still a buy then?

Q: What is your opinion of this company, its price and dividend - should I add to the shares I have, or just hold what I have or sell part or them all?

Whenever i look up the quote for NFI group, there is normally a news release of more orders and yet the stock hardly moves. With the EV craze, I would have expected more from this company with respect to rise in stock price.. Is there a better pick in this industry?

The July 17th Economist article "The funding frenzy" notes "a funding round in June valued Klarna, a Swedish 'buy now, pay later' start-up at US$46 billion." They quote other similar examples. Smart folks are making these investment decisions in finch start-ups What should the small investor be considering today about their investments in Canadian banks?

Q: After its earnings release, would you consider NFLX is now close to the status of a mature enterprise? Still worthy of above-average multiples , but with a P/E that could be justifiable around 25, and likely not today’s sky-high multiples.

1. What is your thinking on this, after last night’s results? Would you be of the mind that NFLX share price will from now rise very modestly ,or even remain flattish, over the next 3 to 5 years?
2. At the time of sending this question, I don’t yet see any updates of analyst ratings but perhaps they will be available at time of your answer. Post latest results what do you see as PEG, forward P/E and, if available, growth/contraction in global revenues?
3. Do you think today’s sell off in NFLX is an opportunity to add? Would you top up on a half position, or liquidate?

Q: What does the latest news that well put out mean for the company.

Q: It looks like around Seven AM this morning the Canadian dollar abruptly shot up a more than 1%, thus wiping out any gains I might make for the day. Any idea what the cause was? Any predictions about where the dollar-dollar ratio is headed in the near term? I hold a lot of US stocks in unhedged Canadian ETFs and am now reconsidering the helpfulness of hedged products.

BIPC in their July 19 press release quoted the Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) report that recommends IPL shareholders vote for the BIPC offer to purchase IPL.

Is the ISS report available to general investors? From what I read on ISS website (buried under the Press Center page), ISS reports are not made public, nor does ISS issue press releases.

Is BIPC being disingenuous in touting the ISS report, when small investors are not able to review the ISS report and make their own decision on whether to accept the recommendations of ISS and vote on the BIPC takeover?

Q: ECN is expected to show strong earnings over the next 12 months and even now after a nice move in the share price shares are still selling at a very reasonable multiple. Based on the earnings projections and the nature and size of the company where would you see the shares trading over the next 12 months?

Q: This mine seems to be in a perilous situation. Bankruptcy is not out of the question I suppose. And now 3 Appian board members have resigned.
The senior creditor is BNP and Appian holds "mega millions" of shares. In March, New Gold invested $25 million and still the sp is falling like a rock.

Q: Thoughts please on the Pangeo acquisition and the bought deal at .50 per share. Tough hit for existing shareholders in the short term, would you be a buyer of these shares today at .50 or less?

Q: What would be your favorite Canadian stocks to initiate a position in at this time for a long term position? I know that's vague but I'm looking to reinvest the cash from PHO. Not looking to replace it necessarily with something similar in the same sector but just the best opportunity.
