Q: Hello 5I Team
I am just wondering if you see anything interesting in GUD’s financial results that might boost investor interest a bit.
Thank You for your good service
Clarence
Q: Morning Peter and Team,
Please comment on LI's latest operating results. What's your opinion of this company going forward? Is it a buy, hold or sell?
Thanks,
Q: It is hard to imagine that this pandemic will one day be a distant memory but eventually life will return to a pre pandemic normal. Can you name 4 or 5 Canadian traded stocks that suffered during the pandemic that you believe will have growth potential in this future?
Q: I am looking for a mid/large-cap silver company that operates in a safe jurisdiction. Dividends not necessary. I currently hold Firsy Majestic but I have concerns about the Mexican political environment.
With appreciation,
Ed
Q: Received these in the spin out from the units. Brookfield units are long term; held in my RRSP. ( turning into RIF in 2022 ). Considering the premium on the corps, would you sell and reinvest back into the units?
Thanks, Derek
Q: I would like to get your opinion on where you see the markets headed between now and the actual release date for a vaccine? I can’t think of any catalyst to drive the markets higher considering they have recovered all losses since March.
Thanks
Q: Retired, dividend-income investor. I own AQN, FTS, TRP.
I am trying to put into perspective the relative market share (whatever the appropriate metric is?) of Renewable Energy vs Traditional Energy. The recent surge in renewables has, I'm sure, accelerated the transition from traditional to renewable. I am wondering how far into the future the oil industry has (20 years?)?
While I have no data, I suspect if we broke down the various energy subsectors into Renewables (solar, hydro, tidal, wind) vs Gas vs Oil, that Renewables would currently make up roughly 10-20%? Can you please give me the current breakdown vs where we are forecast to be in 5-10-20 years?
Q: Seems inevitable that people will travel on planes are some point starting next year and will ramp up from there. With the dominate company that services Canada, does that make Air Canada a "no-brainer" stock to invest in for the 3-5 year time frame?
since mid-Sept, this ETF has gone up by 2 dollars which is substantial as it is an
ETF for utilities
is there any seasonal trade for utility stocks ?
are new money shifting from another sector to utilities in general?
I made some small gains, should I add more or hold or sell?
aim for some capital gains but main goal is income from dividends as I am
retired
thanks for your wisdom and insight in this matter
Michael
Q: I like the business that Well is developing. I understand that Telus has recently bought into the space So I’m wondering if I only bought one of the two would I get more long term ROI from Telus or Well?
Q: What is your take on the move by Telus into health data management and now agricultural data? Is this a long way from their core business? Do you think they will be able to compete with those already in the precision ag space (Ntr for example)? Most importantly, if I already own BCE, are they also getting into these sorts of data management activities, or should I be adding T to my portfolio?
Q: Hi Peter/Ryan, I hold these stocks in my RRSP : ATD.B, BCE, CCL.B, ENB, KXS, LSPD, MG, PAT, RY, TRP, and T. I was thinking of removing CCL.B, I've held it for 2 years and am down about $400 on it and replacing it with AQN for the dividend. Any thoughts on this move or what might you add with a better dividend or better growth. Thanks, always appreciate your insight. Nick
