Q: Hi - Would you consider it a prudent time to invest in the Cdn auto parts sector (with regard to macro slowdown outweighing low inventories or vice versa)? If so, of the Canadian players, which one do you prefer and why?

Q: I have trimmed some of my oil % gas stocks today back to my sector weight and would like to rotate the proceeds to other stocks. I already have the Balance Portfolio of stocks including MG at full position and was thinking of buying some LNR to complement MG or do you think there are other stocks in the Balanced Portfolio that you would consider more compelling at this time? Could you name your preference? Thanks.

Q: The three larger Canadian auto parts companies have been trending down for some time. I hold MG and am fine continuing to hold. LNR is is getting more interesting. I like the company and management. I'll continue to wait until it settles. What price do you see as a a good entry point?

Thanks for your help.

Q: Today, would you buy LNR with p/b of 0.95 and no debt or MG with 2.7B debt and b/b of 1.91. LNR has a wide range of products, other than automotive.
When is LSPD a screaming buy with p/b of 1.13 and 900M in cash?
Many thanks!

Q: As noted in my previous question on the drop in Lnr re:the headwinds it faces and at my book at 70$.Would you consider that going forward in 22 that at a price of say 43$ that ENGH has more upside potential? Make any sense to swap or hold? Tks.Larry

Q: Looks to me that it's time to start looking in the 'bargain bin' for some heavily discounted companies. I like to find good solid companies that have been taken down with the market but through no fault of their own. They also are so good at running their businesses that I need to wait for times like these to purchase them. I'm an investor who can accept medium risk and dividends are always welcome. Please focus on Canadian companies.

Q: I would appreciate your assessment of this company both in terms of the recent earnings report and future prospects. They mentioned that there are supply bottlenecks and cost inflation of labor, materials and energy that are affecting their results. So how do you see these being resolved and when? Would you be a buyer of these shares after Friday's drop? Please provide rationale for your position. Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter and staff,
Thanks for the great information that you guys provide.
These are the holdings in my wife's TFSA account. I have owned CNR since March of 2020 and have done quite well but I'm wondering if this stock has reached the top of the price range and it's time to move on. The average Price Target is $165. Do you think that CNR still has upside or can you name two stocks to replace it.

Thanks and have a great day
Joe

Q: Hi 5i,
Would you consider ATA a good replacement for MG/LNR if one is looking for growth or as an addition to them?
