Q: Good day everyone may I have your thoughts on Hubb thanks George
Q: Upcoming Webinar with Peter - Tuesday, October 17th. I see that it appears TD is a sponsor of this webinar, due to their logo appearing on the announcement. As well, the TD colour of green is quite prominent. I find this a bit concerning. 5i sells itself as being totally neutral and independent and not swayed by others in their opinion. How are we customers to view this? How can 5i be fully neutral in their assessment on a company like TD when they are probably receiving something in exchange for the right of TD to have their logo and colour front and central? 5i has always rated TD as a top bank stock along with RY. This sponsorship kind of clouds the authenticity of this opinion. Can you please state what your position is?
Q: Wabtec's share price has declined lately. Do you see it as a buy now? Thanks.

Q: What doing you think of the bank? I have heard several market commentators say they like this smaller bank.
Q: Good morning!
I'm a retired investor and I am looking to lock in some fixed income! I have had very little exposure to bond trading but can use my TD Trader account I believe! What could go wrong, Lol!
I'm leaning toward corporate bonds...many friends have gone with GIC's but I like the appreciation of the bonds value should we see rates come down...is this a good idea or ?
Are bond ETF's as sure to see appreciation in value as individual bond holdings?
Thanks
Peter

Q: I bought LAC shortly before the spin-off. It's now been a bit over a week since the spin-off and my brokerage account shows LAAC with a cost per share which is equal to my original cost of LAC. And it shows LAC of having a cost which is about 71% of the original cost. (So it shows the combined cost for both is 71% higher than the actual cost). Do you know how the cost was supposed to be applied between the two?
Q: What are your current thoughts on this company? Will it survive?
Q: This company seems to have been "taken out to the woodshed" by the investment community. I realize that any future debt raise will be more expensive, but it is trading at 0.5 X Book Value, and has very decent FCF yield. Do you see this as a value trap? Or is the current price overly pessimistic?
Q: Own BOS and am thinking of switching to CP as I feel that with its recent acquisition it has growth potential. Your thoughts on this switch and CP and BOS in general.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Structure notes are these good yields product for registered accountants
Q: When price corrections downward seem "overdone" is there an opportunity for an option play? Under what circumstances would you advise of buying some calls? Would you buy just out of the money? What timeframe? Is DXCM getting near those parameters?
thanks!
thanks!
Q: Rob Carrick wrote an article in the Globe today suggesting that the current environment is an epic buying opportunity for dividend stocks. Do you share the same opinion?
Q: I would like to earn some interest on the cash that is in my trading accounts. However, it is surprisingly confusing.
My broker offers mutual funds from various institutions but each institution has a Series A and a Series F. What is the difference between Series A and F?
And then there are various mutual funds within each series (for example TD Series F has TD8151, TD8156, TD8158). What are the differences between the funds within each series?
Are there any other issues I should be considering while temporarily parking cash?

Q: Not sure if I understand correctly the transactions by insiders during the last few months. The corporation has bought and sold large amounts of shares. Individuals have bought and sold some as well. Looking at the overall number of shares traded I am not so sure that the result is positive. A second question is about the forcasts for next year (02/25) profit more than double. Is that realistic in your opinion and if so the stock is currently selling at 13 X next year's PE. I'm underwater in a registered account so no tax selling benefit. Buy more ? Wait for the next earnings release?
Thank you for your great advise.
Yves

Q: I am now down over 20 percent and hold in a non registered account so wondering if I should take the loss and then buy back in later when hopefully things might settle down in Israel. Thanks for any insight you can provide
Q: I have a proposal to lend money though my funds manager at a current rate of 9%. Here is what I read:
The management team conducts due diligence on each investment, only invests in industries where they have deep expertise, and holds the companies to strict performance standards. The investment consists mainly of floating-rate loans, where payments increase and decrease with interest rates.
Could you tell me what is this all about and your opinion concerning this kind of investment , many thanks
