Can you please recommend a few US blue chip large cap with reasonable valuation, decent dividend, some growth, buy and forget type of stock. I am reviewing my portfolio and looking for some ideas. No need to comment on why you like the names. Thank you,

Q: Portfolio Analytics is saying I need to increase consumer cyclical and defensive holding. Can you give me a couple of stocks in Canada and the United States with steady dividends and low risk. And a couple of ETF's too.

Q: I am concerned that I don’t have enough cash in my RRSP portfolio.
I have these stocks in my Canadian RRSP:
Canopy, Crescent, Kinross, Suncor, Well Health and Whitecap.
US RRSP
Amazon, Apple, Costco, Kroger Microsoft, Starbucks and Verizon
Which ones would you recommend I sell?

Q: Looking to add a bit of consumer staples to the portfolio within the US. Not entirely apples to apples but could you please indicate your preference to either one of these listed or a combination?

Q: Could AMZN prior to buying Whole Foods short stocks like Kroger, Costco, Target and Wal Mart and use the money made on the short to buy Whole Foods for the win?
Most companies use cash to buy equities. Or would this be totally offside?

Q: I used to own both Kruger, Supervalue, Metro but sold a year ago when it was clear that they would be hit over the past year by food deflation. I believe it is time to start buying on value. How would you rank the three? Your opinion may alter my initial thought of buying equal weights of each.
