Q: Good morning: I have done quite well with BUS over the past year yet after the last earnings report, e shares have dipped. My thinking is that with the huge order backlog of ~$100 Million, a manufacturing assembly contractor in the USA, it being a potential takeout candidate, I should continue to hold. Would you have an opinion? (I also have a half position in NFI.) Thanks for your excellent advisories.

Q: I bought AX.UN for income and growth, and while the 8% dividend remains attractive I am concerned about growth in this space. I'm thinking of trading for KWH.UN for same payout but possible greater growth potential. I would appreciate your thoughts on this action.
Thanks as always fro the great service

Q: Hi there
I have followed UNS stock price for many years and like the company but it was always a bit expensive. I see it is hitting 52 week lows. Wonder why this is and whether it is a buying opportunity. Do you like it long term?

Q: energy.
which 7 names in the energy sector would you recommenced should the sector begin to recover. ( oil $55 ish ) NG $3.50 ish
criteria :
leverage
reasonable balance sheet
good management
good future prospects .
Would you agree that; there might be a strong spring like bounce as many will buy, who are waiting for a recovery and have no or a very small position.
thanks

Q: Reference to important note to John Sept.11 (misc) stating that US stocks in a Cdn ETF will pay the 15% with holding tax (even in a RRSP)) and is not recoverable.
So if I want to own an unhedged SP 500 ETF in my RRSP I should buy one that is listed on an American stock exchange to avoid the non recoverable 15% tax ? Thanks
Derek

Q: hello 5i:
could you detail the differences between HFP and HPR, please, and what type of interest rate environment would be optimum for each? Would holding BOTH be a strategy and is it necessary?
And, could you include backtest results as to what could be expected in the case of an extreme drawdown?
thanks
