Q: In your opinion, does the recent daily drop (-6.39% as of Sept 3 2025) represents an opportunity to add to a partial position, or should we just be prudent and wait to see what is behind the negative price momentum we are seeing recently?

Q: What are your thoughts/comments about market concentration in the Mag 7 stocks?
Seems to be around 32% of the total market cap of the S&P500 are in just those 7 stocks, which is around levels last seen in the .com bubble. While these companies have real revenues and profits, valuations are high (relative to historical averages), and it certainly seems somewhat concerning. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i, What are your thoughts on silver vs gold at this time? Looks like silver has lagged gold, not sure what the historical difference is. I also feel if this onshoring, electrification theme continues then silver might start to run, more than it has. Please provide a few Canadian etfs and stocks you think might participate. Lastly, gold, does it have room to continue to run as it appears a devaluation of the greenback is likely to continue. Thx.
Q: Could you please provide a summary of what this companies does and if you would be comfortable buying?
P.S. The profile page for it on 5i seems to not be setup right.

Q: Hello 5i
Kxs has been pretending to be a growth stock now for five years…..trading sideways with price move failures at or below $200.
I do not have the luxury of holding since lows so really been watching dead money in a long term portfolio.
What valuation metric are investors waiting for Kxs to grow into?
Analysts have indicated lower prices ahead and have been right on this name again.
What’s it going to take?
Or is this finally a sell despite positive comments about recent earnings?
Thanks
Dave

Q: I intend to sell my CNR shares next week for the tax loss after Sept 8th when the dividend is paid. What would you suggest holding as a proxy for the next month? Is CP the best choice despite it's very small dividend or could you suggest several other Canadian companies? Thank you.
Q: hello 5i:
please update your comments on NU. Recent articles indicate they are undervalued compared to peers. Do you agree? Do you see them more favourably than you did in previous answers or are you still cautious?
thanks

Q: Your thoughts on VLTO after a couple of years since it's spin out?
Q: Help me understand why Axon has performed so well. Revenue has grown nicely but
Free cash flow is lumpy (-$190M LTM)
ROIC and ROCE are low (-0.1% and 0% LTM)
Margins are thin (2.8% EBITDA)
It has a lot of hallmarks of a poor investment but it's up 717% over the past 5 years.

Q: In a recent article by Ray Dalio he talks about investor risks given the massive deficits being run by the US government. He points to the possibility of future inflation and likely higher interest rates down the road unless corrective measures are taken. If this plays out what stocks should we include in our portfolios?

Q: I recently sold Nvidia in my tfsa. I sold a call option on it and it was pretty close to the strike price, I let it get called away, since I am overweight Nvidia. Now that it is down I am tempted to buy it again. I can’t let myself forget the overweight aspect, though. Do you have another suggestion that I could replace it with? I want something nearly as good that I can sell options on, thus no or a small dividend. Sector doesn’t matter. I am also full weight on Shopify and Google. I am also open to smaller stocks that could show growth and are relatively safe—celestica and Nebius?
Thanks
Thanks
