Q: I want to add a renewables. I am stuff between aqn and bep. Both seem to be growing quite nicely. BEP has had more consistent returns. AQN had some serious trouble in 08 and I think it was down to around $2. If I am going to drip, does AQNs 5% discount play a factor here into your decision? I notice Scotia having AQN distribution rising slightly more rapidly than BEP into 2020, do you agree with this? What are key geographical / operational differences that would play an impact into long term growth?

Q: Can you tell me what prices (Cdn$/mcf) Bellatrix received for their natural gas in the previous 4 quarters? Can you also tell me what their avarage production cost was (Cdn$/mcf) as well?

The reason I ask this is because as of November 26, 2018 Bellatrix has locked in fixed prices in December 2018 (approximately 30% of natural gas volumes based on current annual 2018 production guidance at a Canadian equivalent price of approximately $4.33/Mcf) and the first quarter of 2019 (approximately 20% of natural gas volumes at a Canadian equivalent price of approximately $4.20/Mcf). Unless I'm missing something these prices seem to me like they are substantial higher than the norm of the past few years?

Thank you, Shane

Q: Provided we don't have a recession for awhile, plus the likes of BNN guests such as Eric Nutall & Josef Schachter think we are in the beginnings of a new Bull Market for oil & gas, Trican Well Services at a $1.20+/- per share seems rediculously cheap. Along with a few other stocks I think it could be a multi-bagger in the next 2-3 year time frame.
Or do you think I'm wrong and TCW is a value trap?

Thanks, Shane

Q: Hi, I am looking to buy some beaten down tax loss selling candidates. Which weeks would you consider to have the greatest tax loss selling and when is the last date in 2018 to sell for tax loss purposes? Thanks.

Q: Altagas preferred shares have really been pummeled in reaction to company developments and the sell off in prefs generally. Do you think they offer reasonable value at these levels and do you believe the dividend is reasonably secure in view of the coming cut in the common dividend? Thanks.

Q: how is it that only days and weeks before announcing a Dutch auction, management and the company were buying large amounts of shares on the tsx? Is the not a prime example of insider trading before the puclic announcement? No wonder so many will not invest as it is not a level playing field!!!!
