Q: FLOW What is your assessment of this company. Does it have potential at these levels?
Q: I own TSU and up 40%, this stock has moved 5 fold from late 2019 and current price level is closer to ATH seen last August. Looking at it technically might breakout above $50 and move up. on fundamental basis is this stock still has legs to run considering gloomy 2023 prediction for the market?. Or should I move into names which would provide upside and added risk
Q: Hi team,
LSPD is my largest position in my TFSA and it is down 75% from my purchase price. The TFSA itself is down 50%.
You are obviously not positive about the future of LSPD. And, at 82 years old, I am not in for the long term.
My choice is to sell to save whatever is left of it or to keep it with the hope of selling it later with a smaller loss than now. What do you think ?
What would you do if you were in my shoes ?
Thank you for your attention.

Q: A few months ago you indicated a multiple of 7.5 to 8 times sales. What do you believe the multiple will be in 12 months. The question is in regards to selling my entire position. My average price is $36.31. I believe we will have a low chance of a recession because the job market is still strong. Clayton
Q: What do you think of the recent short attack on the company? Any merits in the report?

Q: I am wondering about my cash position. Given so many things affecting investor confidence how long do you expect to maintain the cash levels in each of the three model portfolios? What might cause you to make changes?
Thank you,
Mike

Q: I am considering selling a few stocks to raise cash. MFI, FCR and ADEN (formerly HDI)
are on my list.
Any reason to hold on to any of these?

Q: Looking to sell either SYZ or AQN for a tax loss (will still retain SYZ and AQN in registered accounts). SYZ in an unknown, so I am thinking it may be the better one to get sell. AQN will still pay some kind of dividend and is more likely to improve with time. Would appreciate your comments.
Q: Hello 5i Team
Further to Larry's previous question on preferred shares.
Farstad Portfolio Management (Scotia Wealth Management) publishes every week as news the Scotia Wealth Management Daily Preferred Share Analysis which lists the reset date amongst other preferred share information.
https://farstadretirement.com/#news
Otherwise one is forced to download the prospectus for each individual preferred share issue to determine the reset dates (for all approximately 325 preferred shares issues on the TSX not including split shares).
Thanks

Q: Hi Folks,
I've held BNS in my RRSP account for a couple of years now. I also hold TD. I am breaking even with BNS, would this be a good time to switch to RY. I realize there is a difference in the dividend but I am looking 5-10 years down the road.
Thanks

Q: Hi,
Just wondering what would be the best type of an investment vehicle for money I will want back in possibly a years time? GIC's are giving over 5% but would a bond fund supply a better overall return and if so what bond fund duration would be best for this time frame? Appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you.

Q: Would you advise against selling CTS for a "medium" sized tax-loss harvest at this time? If not, what would you recommend to proxy?
-
Costco Wholesale Corporation (COST)
-
Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (ATD)
-
Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH)
Q: Hi, holding these three as my staples holdings. Current weights:
ATD - 2.44%
COST - 2.37%
PBH - 1.30%
Thinking of selling the laggard PBH and adding to ATD/COST or just maybe COST. What do you think about this? Is PBH a buy, sell, or hold? Can you compare the three in terms of valuation and which would be best going forward for growth.
Thanks!

Q: I need to raise some cash in my RIF and I have narrowed my choices down to either selling META or selling TOI.
Which one would you let go and what is your reasoning.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, & 5i team,
Major Drilling just reported. What did you think of this quarter? Being in a cyclical industry do you think their services will still be in demand in the next few years.
Thank you for your opinion.

Q: I am intending to take a small position in one of these 2 companies. Security of capital and long term growth are the mainstays of my investing objectives. Current distributions or dividends are of no particular importance, except to the extent they contribute to the objectives. Which company would you choose, and why? Thank you for your excellent service.
