Q: With Scott Pruitt gone from the EPA but Trump praising his work/destruction of this agency what are the prospects for the sector now? I have referenced Questor and each state's ability (and intention?) to work around the deteriorating EPA umbrella as it affects this co of course relevant, but it would also be nice if you could take a broader view as well in your reply.

would you recommend anything in the Royal Bank family of mutual funds for the
above ?
or an equivalent ETF

Q: Your recommended etf list has xwd. It has a higher mer than xaw and is somewhat smaller. The return of xwd is better. What would you consider the more conservative etf?

I will pair one of the above with xic for my total equity exposure. I want to keep things simple. Can you buy into this strategy?

Q: I'm now 70 (but spry) and reviewing my options for RRIFs. I have managed my RRSP portfolio and done well over the past since 2009; I remain 90% invested in US/CAN stocks. I also have larger non-RRSP stock portfolios. Going forward, I want to consider other less hands on options. Do you have any feedback/recommendations on Bank wealth management performances. Any experiences from other members would also be appreciated. References to other documents or trusted web-sites would be good.

Q: I am currently overweight in tech (now pushing 23%). I have just retired (with a generous defined benefit pension) and am trying to adopt a more conservative approach to investing. Given this new focus:
a) What would you suggest would be an appropriate weighting for tech?
b) Could you list the above-noted holdings in order of least to most risk?
c) Could you offer your thoughts with respect to which stock - or stocks - on this list represents the best balance of value and growth?

Q: I currently have MFI, PBH, ATD.B. I'm under weight in consumer non-cycl. I'm planning to add to PBH to bring it up to a 2% position. Could you recommend a US non-cycl. name you find interesting.
