Q: Hi, I have a double postion in AAR.UN. I would like to sell and split the proceeds into 2 REIT positions.
What 2 REITS look most attractive based on current valuation and future growth potential, to purchase at this time?
Thanks

Q: I am retired living on dividend income. I currently hold equal positions in AAR.UN and WIR.U. Now that the AAR.UN acquisition is priced in and only yielding 3.87%, I am considering selling AAR.UN and adding to my WIR.U position, which yields 5.91%.
Is there any reason to continue holding AAR.UN?
Is selling AAR.UN and adding to WIR.U a good strategy? Or would you recommend another industrial REIT stock?

Q: I was looking to replace AAR.UN with an industrial reit. I found WIR.U which has P/E of 9.12 and DIR.UN has P/E of 26.19. Both are not 100% industrial reit. I will appreciate if you could give me some info on how come DIR.UN is having such high P/E? Or you can suggest some reit which has more growth rather then yield.

Q: Given that AAR.UN has been purchased for a reported price of 8.10 per unit and there appear little reason why this deal will fail can you suggest a reason why the units trade somewhat below 8.10. The fact that a substantial distribution continues to be paid would leave me to expect the trading price should be above 8.10 by the value of the distribution. Actually I wish this deal would fail, it is a tremendous company.

Q: I am a current holder of AAR.UN in my RRSP. What are your top 3 real estate companies to replace AAR.UN in an RRSP with a view of a hold of over ten years?

Q: Hi all,
I was happy to see the deal announcement regarding AAR.UN this morning. I will likely look to sell now rather than wait. I am considering replacing with another REIT or in preferred shares. Considering a balanced portfolio and everything else being equal, looking for both a +4% yearly distribution return and should be a long-term hold, any suggestions? (This is held within an RRSP.) Thanks.

Q: In terms of portfolio sector allocation, is it legitimate to consider Canadian Apartment REIT to be a consumer staple; Pure Industrial REIT to be an industrial; and Chartwell to be healthcare? I have 5% in each of these equities -- is it a mistake to be over-concentrated in REITs ? I have a good gain and a good dividend in each of these holdings, but am interested in your perception of interest rate risk and diversification ? Thank you, Tim

Q: I have a well diversified RRSP account with focus on income and of course some growth. The only real estate holding I have is BYP.UN and would like to add another. I am trying to decide between AAR.UN or CAR.UN. Which would be your chose, if either. I am open to other suggestions.
Thanks
