Q: Hi Peter, what are revenue and earnings estimate in the Qtr for LMN and TOI. TOI is expected to report at the close on Nov 2. When is LMN going to report Qtr?
Q: BRK.B is off its one year high by ~10%. According to RBC DIRECT INVESTING the PE seems to be attractively low at 8.6 x. AND of lots of cash on hand.
This appears to be a bargain at this point in time. I already own it in 2 funds.
Do you agree on the timing of adding more given the current metrics.
Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide a summary of the operations of Mundoro Capital as well as its balance sheet including cash on hand. Does it hold hold any properties that are particularly interesting from an exploration point of view. Also what is the insider ownership and has there been any significant buying or selling in the past few months.
Thanks.
Q: Looking to take tax losses and not sure which to pick ? Some of them I can sell and not rebuy ? Please rate them as sell, hold, sell and rebuy. Thanks guys.
Q: Your response to "Alex" on October 23, 2023 and today's National Post article by David Rosenberg are very positive for the immediate success of TLT. Given its reasonable payout, it seems worth waiting for a turnaround; however, its recent performance has been abysmal. Timing thoughts? It is a worthwhile long-term hold?
What are some small to mid-cap Canadian companies, that are somewhat under-followed or under-valued that you think growth stock investors should take a look at? Stocks along the lines of LMN, WELL, TVK, etc.
I know that there are diversification benefits to owning ZRE vs individual REITs in Canada. But for a 1-2% portfolio weight, I wonder if I might be better off with a name like CHP.UN purely for income given the quality of their largest tenant.
I have owned ZRE for awhile now, but have to admit to being underwhelmed by its performance.
Q: Hello Peter
Any idea why Nu Bank holdings is surging as compared to NVEI, LSPD, PYPL etc. Is it because Warren Buffet owns shares in the company? Is it worth starting a position?
Recently a tech expert came on BNN and mentioned that going forward, it is the SaaS companies that will benefit from AI revolution. His top pick was ORCL. But he mentioned NOW and CRM as well in passing. I looked at these companies using Finviz's screener (free version!) and I see ORCL has a lot more debt than the other two.
What would be your choice? If not these three do you have any other favourites? Many thanks.
Q: I am puzzled that you often recommend Global V Iithium (LIT) .
Even though it is an ETF ( thereby "broader and safer" , in comparison to other lithium plays it has been one of the worst performers . Almost every day it loses value. ughhh
