Q: What would be your recommended ETF's for the following sectors that would provide safety and a regular monthly income . Financial, Consumer, Utilities ,, Energy, and Healthcare. I have noticed that you generally prefer for retired conservative investors like me to follow more the income portfolio.
Your comments and recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.

Q: A question today related to a CAD-hedged version of ROBO by Horizon. Please provide more details and the symbol . Thanks.
Q: I know you have answered this question before (more than once). Could you please give me the link to the blog or article you wrote a while back that went through the type of investments that are most suitably held in an RRSP, a TFSA, a taxable cash account, etc. I could really use it when you wrote it. Now I have an opportunity to set up things more purposively and would like to review it. Thank you.

Q: i am confused about the Return of Capital and how it helps investors versus pure dividiends with the Cdn Dividident tax credit. I think the return of capital gets deducted from my original cost base but then doesn't that just increase my capital gain on the disposition of the stock. Your explanation of this would be helpful

Q: Hello Peter and Ryan,
What do you think of Cannibix as a speculative play? Also, are you aware of companies that do breathalyzers for alcohol so that i can get an idea if the concept will take off from a market potential? Any idea why Aurora keeps going up while Cannimed is stagnant at 19-20 range when the offer is at 24? The results for Couche Tard were good. I would have expected a surge in the stock but it closed only a percentage higher. Was there anything in the news that may have tempered the stock price? Thanks very much.

Q: I see on the Globe site there is a notice from a law company...
Johnson Fistel, Announces Investigations of INC Research Holdings, Inc., Acorda Therapeutics, Inc., and Shopify Inc.; Investors Encouraged to Contact Firm
Is this just another nuisance claim? The stock has dropped 7% today.
Just a note: I see Spin Master products being sold at Master Mind, Walmart and Canadian Tire. I don't think the Toys-R-Us problem will impact Spin Master sales in the long run.

Q: Hello Folks:
Could you please give me your view on Merck and Company (which along with Smith- Kline) has had problems executing new drugs (eg. lung cancer medications) in their pipelines. I also have previously owned Gilead, whose new HIV drug was reduced in value because of government pricing restrictions. My other health care equities are Johnson and Johnson and Knight Therapeutics. Do you think there are better health industry options (with decent dividends and growth potential) in the U.S. other than companies such as Merck, Gilead etc. or should one look to another sector.
Thanks for everything
brian

Q: Could you please comment on ENB’s aftermarket strategic plan announcements. Will this help or hinder investor anxiety? Will the equity private placement be dilutive? Thanks.
Q: The tech meltdown hurt today, but the stocks which cost me the most weren't tech. Any idea why Visa and MasterCard were pummeled today? American Express was actually up on the day. And as long as we're on the subject, do you like the credit card companies?
Q: What do you think of the 500 million dollar offering of common shares at $27.80, almost a 4% discount at this price the yield will be about 7.40% look pretty good to me
Would you recommend to participate on this deal?

Q: I already own AMAT with good gains.
Would you be adding at this point perhaps MU or LRCX? Or do you think the industry had a good run and the gains are done? Is sentiment against them now or this is just a hiccup? I know only time will tell but I would value your take on it.

Q: Regal Entertainment (RGC) is in acquisition talks with Cineworld Group. A 23 cash purchase by Cineworld is being mentioned, could they do better and how long could the deal take.
Q: Hi team,
I am not sure if this is a question or a comment. My curiousity was raised earlier today when I read a question from Kenneth on MYM. I thought I was the only one who heard of it and it was barely for me as it was only a week ago. Many years ago, I used to dabble in the penny stocks but that is usually a losing game. These days I am mainly a large cap momentum style.
Anyway, through a friend of a friend out in Vancouver (you get the picture), I heard of MYM and PUF a week ago in the cannabis space, planning to build a greenhouse in Australia. I think MYM owns 25% of PUF who is leading the construction phase of the project in a joint venture with a construction company that I think is really a company. So, I think there is a question here. Is PUF the best symbol ever for a stock and are its prospects just another puff of smoke?
Thanks again,
dave

Q: Disappointed in NFIs stock performance this last month - down about 14%. I regarded this as one of my ‘hang on and ignore’ stocks. I can’t find any negative stuff on it - seems all positive. Is it tax selling this early? I realize it is up on the year so I suppose this could be it. I think I am missing something tho. Pls enlighten me. Thks guys.
