Current yield 9.98% mainly due to drop in stock price.Reportedly rate is based on 5yr GOC plus 2.89% & resets on Mar 31/21.I think the 5yr GOC is currently 0.62% which indicates a much lower rate then. Please may I have your opinion. If it is advisable to sell, please give 2 to 3 replacemrents dividend stocks( not preferred) Txs for u usual great services & advices

Q: Can I get your thoughts on this etf? It only has $34 million in net assets. I am looking for a government bond ETF with a 1 to 5 year bonds with a reasonable management fee. Trying to get a bit more yield than GICs while preserving my capital. Any other investments that can achieve this? Thanks for your suggestions.

Q: Currently hold both (1.5% position) and down a lot despite having good management teams. Thinking of selling for a tax loss as I have some gains taken earlier this year pushed forward from last year. Outlook for both in this depressed market with prospect of $20 oil and whether they can weather their debt levels. Buy, hold or sell?

Q: Do you know if Knight has re-purchased more shares since the monumental price decline?
Do you have any indication Medisen has reduced their share position from 10.4M shares?
Has Knight given any info on it's progress purchasing Biotoscan public shares?
Is this a good environment for JG to look for great bargains or will he let the dust settle and get their new acquisition going first?
Finally, is there a short position on Knight?
Whew! Thank you.

Q: ETFs
- is it correct that net asset value is determined once daily based on the closing price for the day?
- if correct, shouldn't the trading price reflect changes during the day, disregarding the NAV at close of the previous day?
- if the trading price doesn't reflect changes during the day, I suppose, in the case of a big change in underlying securities during the day, one should postpone a trade decision until the NAV for the previous day is published
- when will the NAV for the previous day appear in the quotation services? By open of trading on the following day?

Q: With governments pouring money into businesses, dropping interest rates, Retirees and individual investors getting killed,(mostly by computers and algorithms) everything shutting down why don't they shut down the markets worldwide to stop the insanity and panic? This may seem simplistic but we make rules to protect ourselves in the mortgage market, we need to protect our companies and ourselves from sheer panic.

Q: China's economy seems to be coming back. Something I ordered in January has finally been shipped. The streets in Beijing are getting busier and of course the Trump administration seems to have finally taken the threat seriously.
If the current shutdown is successful and the incubation period is 14 days would you think it reasonable to see signs of improvement after a month or so?
Your thoughts are appreciated.
