Q: Hi 5i team
I have a 2% position of TECK.B that I did not sell when you adjusted your BE portfolio. I am thinking of selling it but only if you think I could have better performance from one of the following BE stocks...I am missing from the Balanced Equity portfolio AEM, ATD.B, BYD.UN, GC, SU,...I have but could top up CCL.B, MG, PBH, MX. All other BE stocks are at acceptable levels. This is in a RRSP account and I plan to hold for a while. No worries about sector weightings. Thank you, Hope you had a great family day. J
Looking at VET as my play in the oil sector. Sold WCP long ago and was about to re-buy when it was removed from the folio. Don't like SU. Just my thing. Any issues with this substitution, other than you may be right, again!
Looking at dipping a toe with Doo. Any concerns at this point in time, or would it be prudent to wait on some positive momentum. Just some extra coins banging around that need a place to settle into. Am open to any suggestions if this doesn't float your boat!
Q: 5i, Is the merging of these two companies good for someone currently holding THO?, PAAS will pay $3.40 per share for THO stock, and THO today is around $5.00.
thanks
Q: Hello 5i, PAYC has had quite a run of late. I have a small position and would like to add. Could I have your assessment of this company.
Thank you
Dave
Q: I'm wondering whether Enbridge has run its course for the next while? Considering the unusually good day on the TSX, and Enbridge's decent earnings report, one would think ENB might have received a better response!
Q: IPL announced results yesterday: record revenue, 12% increase in net income, 10th consecutive annual dividend increase, 60% payout ratio, dividend of almost 8%. All great numbers, yet the stock is down 2% today while others like TRP and PPL are off to the races. Am I missing something?
Q: Regarding IPL’s Q4 results. I do not understand how they determine their payout ratio as 60.2 % when their dividends are $1.68 per share and their earnings are $1.53 per share.
