Q: What ETF or method would you recommend for an investor who wants to hold some gold (bullion, not the miners), unhedged to the Canadian dollar and with good liquidity. I have heard so many gold bugs talk about the importance of investing in “physical” gold as opposed to “paper” gold. Do you believe this thesis of “physical” gold and does GLD (US) meet this requirement?

Q: In a question today about holding physical gold you said: “Sprott set up PHYS to address these issues, and also stores its gold outside Canada.“
Can you please clarify if you meant PHYS stores it’s gold outside Canada? I thought it was stored at Canada’s Mint. Thank you.

Q: 5i team,
I want to understand more about ENB's debt. Most company web-sites allow the user to easily drill down under "Investor Relations" to find what one wants. The ENB web-site seems different - their Search engine asks "What can we help you find?" I tried to use this, but found it ineffective in finding what I want, debt or other info. Are you able to help on this? Thank you. Edward

Q: Hi 5i team, different analysts use different data bases and we have faith in yours. Would you please mention 10 growth stocks that will have earnings double such as PUR and growth rate / PE ratio > 1. Thanks.
Q: In your answer to Joe this morning about analyst ratings, you are less than positive on the process. This does not surprise me, but it raises the question about analyst predictions for a company's quarterly reports. The market seems to place great stock in the consensus estimates (and this seems to be getting worse in the last couple years), instantly slamming a company that misses on EPS or whatever metric. Are the analysts that make up "the consensus" the same analysts you were talking about? Why does the market think they should correct, particularly when (I assume) they don't have all the information available to the Board members; and, as you mention there are usually some ulterior motives? Just curious.
Thank-you
Thank-you

Q: Hi 5i,
With regards to Applied Materials (Amat) the 2 most recent questions on your website are from June and August of this year. I am wondering what your current thoughts are regarding this company with items such as Free Cash Flow, Earnings Growth, Debt, Cash Position, Management, P/E, it is overbought at this time etc.
In this sector, would you prefer another company such as Nvidia or any other companies that I should be looking into?
Thanks. Love your service!
Brian

Q: 65 percent of their business is printing.
Flyers and newspapers.
Soon both will not exist.
This reminds me of DH corporation.
Cheques will save us until we get into another business.
Will it end the same say?

Q: Good Morning
At the beginning of November Horizon launched this harbinger into the A.I. ETF Market. What is the teams view of A. I. as a future market force? Maybe a report would be in order somewhere down the line. What is your view on this first venture MIND?
Thanks Guys

Q: I hold PBH.DB.E and am wondering if I should sell the debenture as the current price has gone over the conversion price adjusted for the 125% April 2019 redemption price.
Q: RE: Peter Lynchs' general positivity about spin offs.
Opinion about the new spin off Viemed from PHM. Do you know if any of the old management from PHM will be involved with the new company or will it be fresh people from outside rather then some reshuffling of the old mismanaging guard?
Do know how the arrangement will work wrt shares. I don't own any PHM at the moment. Would there be any benefit of purchasing any before the split?
Thanks

Q: The correction in this stock (RE: Toys R Us bankruptcy) is quite startling. The last conference call was optimistically projecting a recovery. This is a large, experienced manufacturer of many popular brands which lost 50% of its value in 4 months. Is this punishment justified and is it a good investment right now?

Q: Does 5i avoid trading stocks listed on the TSX or Canadian companies? Would New Brunswick based Novanta NOVT qualify for one of your portfolios?
Q: What is your opinion on this company, as an investment?
Q: Although they're still recording a modest net loss, the recent earnings appear to be very solid. As always, I would very much appreciate your analysis.
