Q: Hello 5i,
Would appreciate you thoughts on GOOG growth for the next 5-10yrs.
Your past answers to questions state that you view this company's valuation as 'cheap' and its cloud services and Waymo as catalysts for greater growth.
However, I can't reconcile that against a potential recession scenario in the next few years were ad revenue could decrease and potential anti trust cases being brought against it.
Thank you,
Greg

In response to David's question today, you said that mega-cap tech is a sector that should perform well in recessionary environments. can you give some examples of stocks or ETFs. Also, you recommended consumer staples. Would you be comfortable buying consumer staples at these high prices?
thanks for your help

Lightspeed Commerce Inc. Subordinate Voting Shares (LSPD $16.98)
Q: 1. Dana Inc.(DAN) - I'm struggling with this one... seems like a great company, winning awards,etc
- I don't see negative news releases for the most part. Most are positive in nature
- Seems like a bit of a sleeper in the investment community with little attention...
- I would like your opinion on whether a buy more, hold or sell... I am currently in at around $24 and stock is at $15
2. Lightspeed - I know you are constantly bombarded with questions on this one, But my cost base is 95 CDN and 65 US in various accounts
- What price would you be comfortable buying at, in the current environment to average down , catch a falling knife??
- I heard negative news/opinions on CNBC this week with regards to payment related stocks, but I'm thinking contrarian at this point...
- Am I Nuts? or should I hold on ...?
Thanks in advance,
M

Q: With all the supply chain issues, and supply chain management being KXS specialty why was the stock flat in 2021, and down 2022. Supply chain issues persist, KXS does not appear to be capitalizing. Will revenue and share price improve through this year? I know it has been mentioned they have lumpy earnings but the conditions for their products should be very strong.
What am I missing on KXS?
Thank you, Mike

Q: What are the best types of stocks to include in TFSA for long term hold (15-20yrs) with medium risk tolerance? Growth only or growth + income? Have heard that dividend stocks in TFSA can be good as income can compound over time tax free but if the growth outperformes the dividend yield would that not be better? Also could you include your top 10 Canadian picks right now for allocation in TFSA (sector doesn't matter)? Thanks
Q: Has 5i heard any explanations for the 10% drop in this stock today?

Q: Greetings 5i,
AVAV has poped up and seems interesting. What does 5i think of this drone company? It produces and works on Military drones, Agriculture drones, surveillance drones, research, etc. Has had quite a run up lately.
Cheers!

Q: Your current thoughts on TER please. BUY, HOLD or SELL at the current level
Q: I have owned XIT since 2017 and use it as a proxy for my technology allocation. Based on trying to keep relatively close to my allocation targets, I have trimmed it 14 times and added it 3 times (most recently adding at $47 and $41.
It looks to my amateur eyes that we are near a reasonably strong technical support level of +/- $41, which leads me to consider topping up to my target weighting again. In January I also thought we had support at $46-47...wrong.
However, the forecasted aggressive interest rate hikes might be a headwind to each of the underlying stocks, in which case I am more than happy to sit on the cash to see what happens with the next rate increase or two.
So, it really comes down to SHOP, CSU, GIB.A, OTEX (over 74% of XIT). When you look at each individually, and then in aggregate, what does your crystal ball say for adding at this time? I suspect your answer would include...if it is an asset allocation question, just add/sell now.
Your thoughts? Thanks...Steve

Q: if the electrical grids have to be beefed up to accommodate charging many more EVs , what infrastructure electrical companies { power lines & transformers }and parts suppliers{ charging stations } that are publicly traded ,could be considered a wise investment with lots of future upside ?
Q: I had planned on removing both of these stocks after 5i discontinued them. Unfortunately, I waited too long on and am now down 75% on REAL and 10% on GUD. I heard a speaker on BNN Bloomberg recently say that it is too late to sell stocks that declined since the fall 2021. My question is - should I continue to hold these stocks if I don't plan to use the cash from their sale to purchase anything new (they will stay in cash)? Is there any hope that they can improve?
