Q: Why does FTS always out-perform CU? Bought CU because of the higher dividend years ago and have a good capital gain. Now have some new money and want ( but not need) income so would you add more to CU or start a new position in FTS? As always, thanks for the pragmatic advice. Ron

Q: The drop in price in the last couple weeks for these two stocs has been considerable. Is there something more than the Texas problem involved here? Is its present price attractive for the next few years? I sorryfully missed your praise for Magna a couple months ago by bidding somwhat lower when it was $68.

Q: Based on Keystone XL decision, more crude will most likely be shipped by rail. US refineries need Canadian crude oil caused by shortfall from South America. Gibson plans to build facility to maximize crude content of rail shipments.

Q: Now that there has been shareholder and court approval of the "strategic combination" of these two companies when will I see my TOG shares become WCP shares? I can't find an actual date for this to take place. It was finalized yesterday so I thought perhaps it would have happened today. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Q: CPG reported year end today. Their future with the latest acquisition of the Shell assets looks very bright. Canadian oil stocks have been severely undervalued, but as a Canadian investor trying to support our workers and in turn the Canadian Economy and Canada's social security benefits we are starting to reap the huge benefits. Please provide your expert opinion on CPG's year end.

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan, I've held CPG since 2012 where I bought it at 40 (don't know why I held on this long) and am now almost at my adjusted cost of 5.98. If I hit this target would you suggest selling and put the money elsewhere or holding on a bit longer, I don't think its going to get to 8 or 10 bucks (or am I wrong) because of the SU deal. I would hate to ride it back down if oil sells off. Thanks, as always you guys are a great help.
Q: Retired, dividend-income investor who trims and adds around mostly full 4-5% positions. I own AQN, FTS. With the drop, due to Texas among other factors, how much is already baked into their stock positions? I am ready to top up Fortis now that it has dropped to < $50. What does your crystal ball say? Add or wait a little longer? I know it is a timing question. I just didn't want to jump in and catch a falling knife if you thought their might be a bit more downside.
Thanks...Steve

Q: What are your thoughts on BAYTEX ENERGY (BTE) at current prices and going forward? Year end results were released Feb 24, 2021, and it appears as though there were no production surprises, and they have partially hedged their 2021 production with price protection at $45 with upside to 52/bbl. Do you have a price target at current prices? What if we see sustained oil prices at $60-65 or even further bullish (some calling for $80+). Are their names 5i prefers in its place, or are you satisfied with a HOLD on this going forward?

Q: With utilities, I believe 5i likes BEP best for management and outlook for the future, but based on current price, which of the above 5 energy stocks represents the best value? For my own learning, I would appreciate knowing what main metrics you are using to determine value?
Thanks!!
