Q: Given the current direction of the Canadian economy, my goal is to focus the majority of my investments in the US. According to Portfolio Analytics, currently 53% of my portfolio is US, 46% Canadian (the remainder being international). I believe my US holdings are significantly under-rated given the Canadian stocks I hold. I would appreciate ballpark figures regarding the US/international component of the following TSX listed stocks: WSP, TFII, BIPC, BEPC, BAM, BN, and HPS.A. This will enable me to get a better handle on what my actual US/international holdings are. Thank you.
Q: Which lumber stock on the tsx would you recommend.
Q: In your view, what are the 3 most "dislocated stocks in the market today, whereby you believe the market has it wrong and these stocks actually represent good value. please provide a bullish argument for each. thanks.

Q: Hi 5i, Reviewing some of your Growth portfolio holdings (as well as SHOP) for adding to our TFSA's for 2024..
Of the above, could you please rank them for 3-5 yr purchase, with your reasoning for same.
Thanks for your input.

Q: Hi, Thoughts on quarter - seems to be some profit taking. Results seem OK.
Cheers, Chris

Q: I would like to buy ATD (as 5i's stated: it is a great name at a discount price), and have long appreciated its growth trajectory and management seems very astute. However, in order to buy, I would need to sell something and since I am overweight Industrials, the name I come up with in my holdings is WSP. Which of the two names would you favour for a 5 year hold? My hesitation is what I understand to be a growing industrialization in Can and the US favouring WSP. Thoughts on this switch?
Q: Hello, wondering if you have any insight into this drama at GIL? Both sides seem to have very good arguments to support their side. On the company side, it appears that that the former CEO was acting in his own interests and diversions. On the Browning side, it seems this new GIL CEO has a poor track record. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Q: So what should happen to the stock price after the bought deal? Will it slowly recover? Is there anything material that investors should be concerned with? The last earnings period was, I thought, quite solid.
Q: Could you please explain the CDPQ transaction ?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I subscribe to your Portfolio Tracking and Analysis service and would like to suggest adding a feature to help clients such as myself who manage multiple accounts. (In my case, I manage registered and cash accounts for both myself and my husband,) It would be immensely useful to be able to track performance over time and compare it to the TSX, S&P and NASDAQ - both on an individual account basis and on a total account basis. Is this something 5i might be open to providing?
Q: Hello,
Would you add to MG at these level? As a long term hold, do you consider the stock relatively safe? Thank you.

Q: Can you please comment on their recent quarter and news release to acquire the remaining 50% interest in its Middle East JV? How material is the acquisition?
Thanks.
Thanks.

To complement my all ETFs portfolio : VEQT 40%, QQQ 10%, VGT 10%, MOAT 10%, I intend to add 6 of the above 7 stocks for 5% each.
Does it make sense, please feel free to substitute and suggest other stocks and explain why.

Q: After holding for a few years, I am up on both these positions. P/E ratios for both still look very reasonable - I'm trying to decide if I should realize some of the gains, or let these winners ride. What are your views on these stocks?

Q: I don't have too many names I want to sell, but lots of names I'd like to buy....
One move I would consider would be to sell CTS to invest in either TMX or ATS. My question is besides the different sectors, long-term which company has the most potential to outperform the others? I'm guessing in order of growth potential it would go CTS, ATS, TMX, with the risk profiles the exact opposite?
Do you see enough potential in CTS to hold it over the other two names? Thanks in advance. - Jeff

Q: I am somewhat confused and mystified....according to 3 sources I look at (including the company profile on 5i), the P/E for FSV is at 75. In an answer in early April you suggested the Forward P/E is 32.5; on April 25, you explained that while Revenue was up 14%, EPS was 67 cents down from 85 cents the prior year. 1. How does the Forward P/E drop by more than half when EPS went down? 2. You describe the results as good overall, yet the stock price continued to slide although it turned a bit at the beginning of this month: at this time do you see FSV as worth holding onto? Many thanks
Q: We had members discussion where we could ask and discuss, my question would be I am charged very high interest by my broker and if any member can help advising me which brokerage would be easy to operate and better margin interest, I know you wont advice me on this issue but can direct me to the source or members blog.
