Q: GOODFOOD LAUNCHES YUMM.CA, A VALUE MEAL KIT OPTION TARGETING COST-CONSCIOUS CANADIANS

Surprised that the stock price of FOOD has been generally declining over the last 6 weeks since announcing strong quarterly earnings. But it has perked up in the last couple of days following the introduction of the lowest price ready-to-cook option in Canada. As always, I would appreciate your analysis of this new development.

Q: I have shares in these two companies in my TFSA. I have sold another position and would like to add the proceeds to one of these two. Which one do you believe has the greatest growth potential over a 5 year period? Thanks

Q: Dear 5i,
What are your preferred companies in the Industrial sector? The first five that pop into your mind.
Market cap is not a consideration issue, and they can be either on the Canadian or USA exchange(s).
Thank you for all you offer.

Q: Good morning,

If you had to keep 3 of the 6 listed companies, which ones would you choose. The goal is for pure growth over next 10 years assuming all companies continue to grow and execute on their existing business and outlooks etc. No sector concerns but I want to keep 1 Canadian and 2 US companies. Thank you for the continued advice!

Q: I realize that BEP.UN could have US tax implications if not held in a RRSP\RIF. Does Bam.A have any similar tax implications or is it treated the same as most other Canadian stocks.
Would the maximum recommended holding for BAM.A be be at about 7.5% of the portfolio or since it is diversified by the other Brookfield companies would it be higher and if so what would the recommended limit be.

Q: Hi Peter and Company:
I am a growth investor, presently down on above 4 Canadian and 5 US companies.
Should I keep, sell, add or replace e.g. GC with TSGI.
Since US market usually outperforms CAN market I am fine buying all best US growth
companies that you will recommend...…..or mixture of US and CAN companies. Long term hold fine but not required. I will trade as required, i.e. when becoming aware of it. E.g. missed selling MX, where I had an nice gain but no alert to sell and now a significant loss.
Thanks for your advice

Q: I own all of these in equal weighting (7% each). Down quite a bit on NFI. Just seeing if I should keep it and give it the long term (10 years) to provide a good return or sell because there is a better company to replace it with for a better long term performance at this point. Any other recommendations as I do have some cash side lined at this point (30%).

Q: This company continues to make the headlines with new contracts and good news... I know it is a Cannabis company which is overvalued based on current sales, revenue earnings etc, but they have a low P/S in relation to peers, positive EBITDA and positive cash flow from operations).

I own it already and recently asked a question after their 2nd quarter. Today they announce at $30 million agreement with Cronos Group for 18 months with an additional $30 million revenue potential PLUS a separate tolling agreement (which they also offer to multiple large Cannabis companies. They are close to EU GMP facility certification which will be a big step for them for sales to Europe and for medical cannabis sales. They have hinted at CPG deals in the works and with upcoming vape pens and edibles etc being legal in the fall it seems like there are lots of positive catalysts for this stock in particular. What to you would be a good way to value this type of company which focuses on extraction not dried flower sales. What are your thoughts on the recent deal announced?

Q: Thanks for your rapid reply to my question but I just have a quick follow up to the last line of your response which was: "Investors may also take some profits post closing, potentially causing an overhang and keeping buyers today on the wary side. "

If we are talking about post closing, then OH shareholders will have already received .8428 shares of CL for each OH share which would put them well ahead of where they are now based on the current disparity in prices between the two companies. Thus, rather than be wary, at this point they should be buying to take advantage of this disparity.

Thanks again.
