Q: Down 65%, I am considering selling for tax loss opportunities this year (and last). Since it appears to be the dominant producer in its space, do you have any suggested proxies (or other near proxy approaches) ?
Q: What is your opinion on the medium to long term outlook on the Keg?
Q: My simple reading of the financials, looks like the total number of shares outstanding, X the existing price, is less than the net assets. The expressed book value is also much higher. Does this Company scrap, for more than it trades for ?
Q: According to StockCharts, GUD has increased 32.45% in the past month. The only stock in your Balanced Equity portfolio that is down is NFI, down 27.45%. My question is, re NFI why? Should we be patient? Can we see NFI rebound when the pandemic subsides and people start moving around again?
Q: In answer to @Cheryl, Knight released two news yesterday. The Triumvira repayment shows that Goodman's strategy of battling mostly 'singles' (except the GBT 'homerun') is working.
However, a more meaningful news is that Knight finished repurchasing 100% of their shares buyback under their NCIB. I don't recall a company actually buying "all" of the NCIB allocation. We knew they had bought 78% of it as of March 30, 20 in their Q4 2019 quarterly report. We could have expected they would buy the other 18% but still did it quickly with Stock having dropped a lot in the COVID market (even though they said COVID had not affected their business - well not yet at least).
Question: their NCIB only expires on July 8. Does it mean GUD has to wait until July 8 to request another NCIB to the TSX if they want to continue buying back their shares? Medison still owns 7.5% (10.5M shares) of the company, and I would really like to have GUD arrange a 'block' buyback of Medison's Shares via a 'special NCIB' repurchase to finish the Meir Jacobson involvement once and for all without disrupting the share price, or at least causing uncertainty/concern on that.
Is that possible? And if so, does it have to wait until current NCIB expires in July even as they have completed 100% of the current NCIB already? Thank you!

Q: May I have your opinion on the psychedelics space? More specifically Mind Medicine Inc. (MMED.TO) and Champignon Brands (SHRM.CN). Thanks.
Q: With what looks like TSGI hitting on all cylinders the last few quarters I think Flutter is getting a very good deal. Are there any companies that may take a look at TSGI and make a superior offer? When I do my math of .2253x1.53x103=35.50 $Canadian which is close to todays price.
Q: The VIX is below 40 this morning. Is that a sign that the worst is over or are investors becoming dangerously complacent. How does 5I interpret the recent movements of markets.?
Thank You
Thank You

Q: 1st question on ENB , I see lots of recommendations on ENB. I understand that this co. has mostly take or pay contracts (I am also aware of their investments in renewables etc.) however, it looks like there is a possibility of oil storage filling to capacity, if this does happen many pipelines will have basically slow to a trickle or even stop for a while, if this were to happen would this not give energy cos. stuck with take or pay an out as their contracts wouldn't be honored, it seems like a very risky situation to me for all the pipelines, what is your take on this?
2nd question would you endorse buying ZQQ for a 1 stop tech exposure ( I like the idea of being hedged) or would you prefer something else. I was also looking at the ARK etf's F W K ( tesla seems heavy in some of these) which of these would you prefer in combo with a ZQQ or instead of? dock as many as needed as I don't use many, lol. Thanks for your perspectives and all the work you do.

Q: I would like to purchase QQQ but in Canadian funds and not hedged. I think that QQQ.F.CA or XQQ are options. But I notice that QQQ shows about 10% better price increase over the last 3 years than the CDN options.
Are there other pros and cons of purchasing say XQQ instead of converting my cash to USD and buying QQQ?

Q: Currently have ZQQ. Is there a more concentrated hedged ETF with just the FAANG stocks & a few others?
Q: HiTeam:
Good day!
I am holding SCHW & SBNY with some 30% loss, and COLD some 7% loss. Should I let go the first two and hold the COLD?
Please take the points for each one as I have 3 companies in question.
Thank you.
Louisa

Q: I have shares it both of the these Income funds. FIE-T is down 24% and XTR-T is down 12. 42%. in my registered portfolio. I'm thinking of selling the entire position in XTC-T and purchasing more shares in FIE-T . The later has a much higher yield in FIE then XTC-T . Your thoughts ? Is this reasonable. Thanks
Q: May I have your opinion on CloudMD Software (DOC.CN)? Telemedicine may benefit in this environment.
Q: Hope you are all staying safe and sane.
I have about 20% of my RRSPs following your Balanced portfolio, the rest in cash. I would like to deploy most of that cash in the next year. Which names would you start adding to first?
