Q: Your thoughts on yesterday's quarterly release? I own a small position in my TFSA and am patient. My belief is their fortunes are tied to the ending of Covid. Their press release indicated status quo until some time in 2023. Worth continuing to hold?
Thanks...Steve

Q: Of these three, which do you prefer and why?
Q: Are you familiar with this fund despite its small size (AUM $90M)?
Asset breakdown shows 47% in term loan. Is it private debt?
It also shows 38% in cash or equivalent, not sure why it's so high? Maybe you have an explanation.
I had bond exposure that matured and like many investors, I am looking for higher yield in the fixed income portion of the portfolio. I am interested in the private debt market. I am familiar with Atrium MIC and Firm Capital and was looking for other alternatives. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Q: I would appreciate your opinion on these stocks for a 10 year hold. Thank you very much.
Q: What is the long term outlook for this stock? Bought at $40 and missed the opportunity to sell when it reached the high $40's. Does it still have potential to go back into high $40 range. If so, what will it take to do so. Or should one consider getting out at current price.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I’m trying to understand the core business proposition of Amazon as comments on earnings were how great its last quarter was. Their online retailing is very competitive and a valuable service. But not very lucrative.
The AWS part of their business is very profitable but it would seem that it’s an oligopoly at best and subject to possible margin reduction.
Do you have any thoughts on why it’s growth and margins going forward look so attractive?

Q: In my total holdings, I am very well diversified across sectors (perhaps need to increase Industrials). Specifically, in an USD RRSP acc't, I am 20% cash after some adjustments (high-grading and trimming).
In this acc't, I am considering WFG, CCJ, RIO for the thematic and fundamental merits of each of the three. Which might hold the best growth possibilities going forward and why?
My thanks.

Q: If you work for a company and you have restrictions on when you can buy and sell a stock. There are only certain times a year you are allowed to buy and sell. For example lets assume any one of those in the top ten holdings of HHL.
My question is can you buy and sell HHL during those restricted periods?
Thanks Jimmy

Q: I went back to Constellation Software’s old reports to compare results to Topicus’ current results. Constellation had similar revenue ($891m USD) in 2012 to Topicus in 2021 ($846m USD).
Here are the revenue growth rates for those years:
CSU : 15%
TOI: 50%
Here are the acquisition amounts in those years:
CSU: $141m USD
TOI: $385m USD
By the numbers, it would seem that Topicus is significantly more aggressive in terms of growth by acquisition than Constellation was when it was the same size back in 2012.
My question is can Topicus keep this rate of acquisition up over the next five years or so, or are they picking off the low hanging fruit and things will get much more difficult down the road? Thanks

Q: Recently Veritas’ D.Souza cut most of the big canadian banks to sell. Could I have forward P/E for each of them? I doubt it, but do you agree with M. D’Souza that the banks are a bit overpriced looking at 2023?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hello,
According to TD and Interactive brokers, UWMC's PE ratio is 0.32X.
It has a 8.5% dividend. Do you think this is a good stock to buy? The earning release is today - any comment? Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter and team,
What do you think of major drilling group? For banks like TD and telecoms such as BCE, when would one consider them to be over valued? Would be mostly based on PE ratios and if so, what would considered a high PE ratio for banks or telecoms to be considered in over value territory? Thank you.
