Q: I'm seeking your view in regards to my grand kids RESP's. One is now 11 and the other is 16. I have been fully contributing over the years and using a growth with small div selection method. I have good 20% plus returns overall. Last year was very good. ECI,ENF,BRE, SIA,DIV, AND CHE.UN are equally weighted holdings. As the older one approaches graduation should I be starting to ease up on stocks and using forward years contributions more on ETF's and less risk oriented holdings. I cannot really bring myself to using bonds at this time. I do want to protect what I have gained for him.Something like a ZUT,or ZPR for this year as opposed to another stock perhaps. Q: I have some Stella Jones at a 30% profit. I would like to sell and invest in wsp for a 2 to 3 year hold. Given the recent weakness and outlook for Stella Jones woould you recommend this strategy for future growth and stability? Thanx.

Q: SJ is currently the only holding I have categorized as materials. I have about a 10 year time frame. If I wanted to hold only one materials company, would a switch to MX make sense given its better momentum and dividend? Thank you.

Q: I've held shares of G in my RRSP portfolio for more than 10 years (paid $37) and am under water. I recently purchased more shares in my margin account and am doing ok with them. I see G is selling off assets recently and am wondering if this is a good move on the companies part or does it add more risk? Is there reasonable expectation that G will return to the +30$ range in the future$. Thanks.

Q: I have been looking to invest in the artificial intelligence/robotics theme that is gaining momentum. Other than some USA listed companies I'm not aware of any in the Canadian market. Can you recommend any in Canada and provide your opinion on putting money in this space. Thanks as always for your comments.
