Q: Hi,
I am trying to look at the stocks I own , not merely as 'stocks" but rather as an investment in a good business. When I look at it that why, I am inclined not to sell indiscriminately irrespective if the stocks have gone up or not. Generally, if I do sell, I realize that I had made a terrible mistake in doing so, after the fact.
To my limited knowledge I do look to 5i for guidance.
Would you consider the stocks I have listed , to be those that represent "good businesses" and that are worth holding even 5 or 10 years out?

Thanks

Q: Good morning, could you please rank these 10 small caps that the team has mentioned recently in terms of both opportunity (highest to lowest) and risk (Lowest to highest). I am unfamiliar with DCM but from your comments, and the extremely low PE, I am assuming they owe a few bucks? Could you shed some light on the company? Thx as always for tremendous guidance.

Q: Have been following these 3 gold stocks for awhile and would like your thoughts on which one you feel would be a better investment and why. Or do you have another suggestion. Could you rank in order, best first, including one you may suggest.
Thanks John

Q: I have a 2% position in KRR, and I am debating between doubling my position in KRR to 4% or starting another position in NGD, as I understand it recently entered the TSX S&P Composite Index, which could increase demand for the stock from index funds. I have a 4% position in MMX and 2% in FR to round out my PM exposure. Any thoughts as to which might be a more sensible purchase?

Q: Hi there, can you please provide your thoughts on KRR second quarter results released on Aug 10th?
Also, you stated on Aug 7th that KRR is cheap, can you please provide information and ratios why its cheap, after second quarter results?
In addition, can you please provide top five largest shareholders, insiders, as well as top five institutions holding KRR?
Have management and Board been buying KRR over the past twelve months, who are they?
Any additional thoughts on KRR/Gold would be greatly appreciated, looking twelve to eighteen months forward...thank.
Thanks!

Q: I have an open ended time frame and $1000 which I am looking to put into the Gold mining sector. I am especially interested in Yamana Gold, but am willing to take on a fair bit of risk on something that might prove especially profitable. Any suggestions? Any risks to look out for in the near future? Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter,
Based on your last reply, i agree day to day movements is not something to worry about; however, i am noticing Novo Resources and Karora Resources are showing either lower stock movements or trending lower whereas the sector is surging.. is there any news? Also, can you recommend a good silver ETF; I was thinking of SLVP OR SIL. Please advise. Thanks

Q: Hi there,

I noticed you've been recently warming up to KRR and I know Eric Sprott has also been adding to his position. I'm thinking about buying 5 gold/silver Eric Sprott endorsed names with high potential (maybe the next KL?) and was wondering if you could recommend which 5 you think look the best.

Thanks!

Q: Hello Peter,
When a sector is up, and some stocks in that sector are down, is that a cause for concern or just a day to day event? I am looking at gold , and the sector is surging whereas Karora and Novo Resources are trending downward.. Is it still a good time to buy into those? Also, what do you think of alamos gold at this levels of $15 plus.. thanks very much.
