Q: The Brookfield suite over the years has been a comfortable place to grow but it has a way of taking over ( combined 4 holdings has grown to 17% ) .

BIP.UN is my 3rd biggest holding , BEP.UN is my 13th biggest holding .
BIPC is my 23rd and BEPC is my 30th weight position . I own 50 stocks .
My RIF begins next year so I will have to cull somewhere and draw income.

1. You seem to prefer BIP over BEP :
2: You prefer the “C” stocks in non-registered accounts (To benefit from CDN dividend )
3. You prefer “.UN” stocks in the registered accounts to avoid US withholding taxes.

To restructure things involves declaring substantial capital gains ... Does it make sense to switch things around ?

I thank you for causing me wealth management problems like this.

Q: Can you please tell me how BAM.A has “nearly doubled since the March low”? I’ve seen this comment from 5i a couple times already but don’t can’t see anything close to that in the charts or looking at the 52 week lows/highs. Are we talking about the same stock?

Q: What would you conjecture would be the market's response if the following were to occur: 1. Biden wins so decisively that Trump leaves with very little resistance 2. The Republicans win the Senate and 3. Shortly thereafter, we come up with a successful vaccine ? Thanks.

Q: What do you think about competition Roku will face from Amazon in particular given especially Amazon's new firestick reveal today? I've done well in Roku (thanks to 5i) and would like to hold it but am worried about the company getting it's lunch eaten by Amazon. I'm interested in hearing your views on this point - the competition from Amazon. Thank you,

Jason

Q: hi folks:

this might be a big ask, yet do you know what percentage of this asset (BAM) is exposed to 'big city' real estate ie. new york, toronto etc

been watching both BPY and BAM underperform and i wonder if it is partly/solely due to the underlying exposure to big city real estate

current prices of those assets (BAM, BPY) may not be fully reflected in the share price (ie. down)

thanks as always

Q: This question stems from your recent comments about US industries and especially J. Because of this, I'm wondering whether I should continue to hold J or sell now and rebuy at a later on. And this also applies to RTX with the position being in a slight loss. Please let me know that your take would be....Thanks....Tom

Q: Hi Peter and Team,

Now that the second wave of Covid is deemed to be officially here (at least in Canada), do you have a sense that another steep market drop is inevitable? I was reading an article by Rob Carrick in the Globe today, and his advice (verbatim) is, "Anyone who has money that they cannot afford to lose in stocks should get it out, right now. This includes seniors who don’t have their cash cushion set up, home buyers who got tired of earning nothing by keeping their down payment money in a savings account and, more broadly, anyone who will need their money within five to 10 years."

Sounds like Rob is pretty convinced that a significant drop is likely, but my inner gambler voice is telling me that most people expect another quick market rebound (like from April-August), which may negate having a steep sell-off in the first place. Any thoughts from your vantage point? Thanks. Brad
