Q: Hi, I’m about even on ecn 1.5% and would like to switch to higher dividend paying stock 3%+ with a little growth.
For 2 years it has done little unless you were lucky and sold at the high.
Would you stick with the banks? I have TD 2.5% and FSZ 1.5%.
Thanks

Q: I have a question. I hold AGT in my TSFA at a price of $31.50/share. My question is how is it legal for the management to be involved in buying out the shares of the company at $18.00 [much lower than when most of us bought in] when they are the ones who were in charge?
I could see a takeover by a group who thinks the shares are undervalued, but how can management be involved? They could have drove down the price through management decisions so they could buy it at a ‘sale’ price and take it private. That’s what it looks like to me.
I am surprised I haven’t heard of a class action lawsuit about this.

Q: I have a question about 722
Hi 5i,
Can you tell me the PE? The EPS estimate on the companies page says about 5 bucks. Would that make the PE around 15? That seems incorrect.
TIA!

Q: Regarding the question on equal weighting, you say that a better case can be made in Canada than in the US for it. One of the reasons that I would probably go for equal weighting in the US rather than market weighting is the high preponderance of FAANG stocks in say, VOO. if they go down en masse , which as you say they haven<t recently, you have problems.
Q: Following up on your recent response that you would limit investment in Canadian equities to 25-40% of one's portfolio, in what country (US) or countries/regions would you recommend investing the balance...and in what proportions? Thank you.
Q: what do you think of the PSD acquisition announced today.
thanks

Q: Given your recommendationed percentages for sector allocation could you tell me which stocks in your balanced portfolio are utility stocks and telecom stocks and if there are none in your balanced portfolio which would be a buy at this time?
Q: Hi, Do you have estimates for revenue and EPS for Sylogist for the quarter and FY 2018 ? Company is now covered by Cormark and Acumen Capital. When are the results expected ? Thanks
Q: My target allocation to Financials is 15%. Within that group, I would like your advice on the following selection and allocation: TD-25%; CME - 8%; SIVB - 8%; MFC - 8%; BAM - 16%; BX - 16%; FSZ - 12%; XLF - 6% [or another bank].
This grouping is intended to provide both overall yield and growth; accepting some volatility. What would, in your view, be a reasonable target return for such a grouping? Please advise on target percent allocation to the sector. Which ones would you recommend and what alternatives would you prefer?.

Q: What is your view on the price of oil going forward and how do you view the prospects of FRU and PSK ? Thank you.
Q: What do you think of Park Lawn at today's levels? P/E seems a little high - but does past and future growth prospects justify it? (TD has it currently at 67.2x). I see they have missed some quarterly estimates - reason to worry? The growth seems solid and I like the story....thanks for your thoughts.
Q: Could I please get your top 3 USA consumer discretionary (mid-large caps) and top 3 health care names (mid caps). All with a growth tilt. Thanks as always.
