Q: If you were adding a dividend producing ETF to a pipeline, insurance and bank-focused portfolio (North American bias), which ETF would you use for:
a) dividend/total return
b) diversification?

Q: I figured if this name was safe enough for Charlie Munger and Mohinsh Pabrai, that it would be safe enough for me. However, I always get week knees when I start to lose money. My guess is that China will not want to kill a golden goose like Baba and Im therefore hoping to look past the noise about CCP regulation which seems to be driving down the price of Chinese stocks indiscriminately. I know you do not closely follow overseas stocks but do you suggest I hold this name or move on to North American names which do not face the same regulatory dangers. I’m only down $7 at the moment. Thank you.

Q: Hello Peter and Staff

For a small starter position medium risk acceptable -5-10 year hold which of the 3 above would you recommend and why?

Also would the “runner up” be better same parameters than any of U, ENGH or SYZ already held in small positions

Q: Skeena Resources just released a Prefeasability Study for its Eskay Creek exploration project in the Golden Triangle area of BC. I wonder if you could interpret the results for me, especially in terms of potential share price and timing. I realize it is still a speculative stock, but I'd like your assessment of whether or not is a good bet. My shares are in positive territory now, but I'm wondering how long to expect to hold them. I don't necessarily want to stick around until the mine is operational. But maybe, depending on your assessment. Thanks again for continued excellent information and analysis.

Q: Hi folks, thoughts/opinion on pre-lim Q2 results for Air Canada...looks to be beat on Adj. EBITDA but miss on Revenue....started 1/2 position last week at $23.12...now trading $25sh range....would U add to position to complete full position with future looking better...& would U rate as Buy/Hold/Sell....thanks as always, jb Piedmont QC

Q: Hello: I'm looking for several buy-and-hold "forever" companies. When I die, they will go to my children. Could you assess the above in those terms and rank order them, best first. I know you like all of these companies, but I"m not sure if you like them "forever." If you think I should drop any, please note.
