Q: What handful of small to mid cap companies do you see as having home run/Palantir type potential? I don’t care what exchange the companies are listed on. I’m willing to be patient and realize your picks are purely speculation.

Q: Good morning,

So with the new Fed Chair nominee being announced today, I am surprised that gold is moving lower. For him to have been nominated, you know he is going to push for lower rates. But historically he has been known as an inflation hawk, thereby preferring higher rates to ward off inflation. There is the question of what this now means for Fed independence, which in turn could result in further volatility in the rates markets. All of this points to the ongoing theme of USD weakness amid a flight of capital away from the US.

In my small brain this points to higher gold prices, not lower gold prices - lower rates; lower USD; higher volatility; less Fed independence. But gold is moving sharply lower. What am I missing?

Q: My news feed just had an Australian article about gold/silver going down significantly overnight. I was thinking yesterday I might sell some or all of my CGC.VN stock as it hasn't done anything for a bit only to realize it was bought out by MUX yesterday. Please tell me about that (I seem to have made 33% on that deal?) and MUX's prospects so that I can determine whether to go through with selling it all or whether I should keep half. I feel like it's just going to start sinking as soon as the TSX opens this morning. I have AEM & LUN as well--how bad is this correction going to be this morning and will LUN be safer because it has nickel and copper mines as well?

Q: Hi Team,
Can I have your take on NOW earnings? Beat on all metrics it seems like, yet the stock nose dives. CNBC has a headline saying "bear market is in for software stocks". What is a person to do now when I am stuck with NOW, and all the CSU family? Can I expect CSU, LMN, TOI to sell off a bunch more on earnings when they report like NOW is doing today even though they beat? I am finding it hard to decide whether to just Hold, buy more, or Sell? Usually selling is not a good long term idea in a proven quality name, but maybe this is different this time? However selling a sector that is being oversold might be a bad idea if I am expecting to invest it in momentum names at their "highs" (such as MU) that might roll over at any time...that would be a bad scenerio. Today is an awful day. My portfolio has peaked last October and still has not came back since and continues to fall. Losing confidence in holdings I thought were all quality names..

Q: Have made my tfsa contribution for 2026 and trimmed some winners and added some themed growth ideas.
It's now a decision to add MDA or CGY. Both are performing well which would you choose or split the position between them both at this time.

Q: This fund has done well over the last few years but historical really up and down. It shows a 9% dividend -is that correct? Could you let me know how high risk it is, and if you would recommend it as part of a basket of international ETF's? Is there others you prefer that you think would do better over the next few years and any in Canadian dollars? Currently I only own ZDI.
