Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Put Options betting the stock will go down or Call Options betting the stock will go up.

Do you prefer one over the other?

Thinking of trying both, I'm a 10 year self investor.

Or just continue to buy stock for the long term?

Are there any statistics that prove using Put & Call's perform better than buying and holding stocks?

Thank you.

Q: Hi team ?

What are your views on Altimmune (ALT-Q) and its growth prospects, its risks ? Would you buy it now for a growth account in a TFSA ? Which entry price would you suggest ?

Gratefully,

Jacques IDS

Q: What's your take on the special div?

It's funny, many of the people (non experts) I follow on Twitter/X aren't impressed, as everyone would rather see that money stored up to continue with acquisitions. I guess CSU/TOI/LMN has raised their own bars so high a special div seems small compared with the overall returns people have some to expect from them....

Q: Hi I’ve held BN for some time. I feel it’s an exceptional business with little price action. Are my expectations too high? fundamental concern?

Buy/hold/sell?

If selling is an option, what would you purchase as a replacement? Thanks

Would you agree that cpx might do better long term with their electric power generation, that everyone seems to want or need in the future?
Could you give me the p/e on both I think it’s 8.5x cpx- 11x bip.un? Does cpx have a return of capital with its large dividend?
Thanks

Q: Do you see the recent dip in PGNY as an opportunity or did the recent results indicate something worrying? Do you agree with the assessment that there could be long-term, above-average growth possibilities and PGNY is emerging as a leader rather than just simply another OK investment?
