Q: I have noticed that you have started to recommend TT in the last month or so and it has also appeared on your disclosure list when asked about US stocks. Can you tell me what about this company makes you recommend it when it is at close to a 40xp/e in the industrial sector. I am thinking of replacing SIS with it as I am overweight Canadian stocks and underweight US stocks according to portfolio analytics.

Q: I am deploying a lump sum and I had an initial 1% position if LSPD bought at $56 in middle of November. I am up close to 40%. I know they signed a new deal in the U.S. yesterday and there's good momentum. Should I take my quick profits or let the value of the stock build. I originally was planning to build a 3% in LSPD over time. Its tough given the valuation is so high, but may go higher or may be much lower in a correction.

Q: On Yahoo Finance, the earnings per share of su and su.to are +2.27 and -4.24 respectively. the earnings per share of cnq and cnq.to are +2.31 and -.50.
Witch is the correct one and why this discrepancy?

Q: Hello Peter and Team,

Looking to for an inflation hedge for my Son's mother in law. She just sold her house and has all her money in cash. She isn't very comfortable with investing so gold won't work. We are slowly putting her TSFA contribution in VBAL as we need some growth for the future (approx. 25% of the cash), but that is all she is comfortable with investing. What are your thoughts on ZRR? Is there any other product you would recommend as an inflation hedge?

Q: good morning. with most of the banks reporting now for year end and most of the majors making a ton of money again this year can you see that dividends will be allowed to be raised again starting next year or do you see problems in the future.
i noticed bank of nova scotia did not raise at all this year and hoping that they can restart again next year.
